I know a lot of us dislike A.luck...

The media doesn't like Cam on a personal level and it doesn't fit the script they wrote for him before he even played 1 snap in the NFL...that is why.

They are petty little bitches and even blamed the Saints for losing rather than giving Cam credit for the clutch game winning drive vs the Saints.

Judging by this and other  Panthers site, the media aren't the only ones.

I don't dislike Luck. He's an exciting young QB. However, there are 3 specific things about him that bother me:

1) The first and most obvious thing (not his fault) is the way he was anointed as one of the greats before taking his first pro snap.

2) I hate his voice when he calls out cadence at the LOS. It sounds like the death throes of a large, wild animal. If I had to listen to that for 16 games each year, ear plugs would be a necessary purchase.

3) I find it pompous as hell that he and his family either required or allowed Stanford to name the OC position the "Andrew Luck Offensive Coordinator" after they made a donation to the school. It's not like he invented offense, he's just a good QB like a number of his peers.

Other than these things, I like him just fine.

Other than his neck beard of course.

I guess money and power does talk. Maybe the reason why those behind the scenes in the media are going out of  their way to make him the heir apparent to the other media darling Peyton Manning. Football fathers with money, and clout.

I remembered how peeved many in the media was when Cam received his statue at Auburn. They not only called it arrogant but premature. In the meantime, not only did they not have a problem with The Golden Calf of Bristol getting one from UF but Luck's family using their clout with Stanford. Yeah, these folks seem to believe hypocrisy isn't a problem when they are pushing it.

Luck said from day 1 that he wanted to get his degree and that is what he did. It had nothing to do with not wanting to come here. For all he knew, he could have ended going to somewhere even worse than here (Cleveland, Oakland, etc) had he stayed an extra year.

Oliver luck was on the David Glenn show and openly admitted that his son hoped to end up in a market with more history,so.......

Three years ago I wanted Luck, but I knew Cam would fit better on the Panthers, so I am happy. Hopefully Cam will be a part of two rivalries in the next 10 years. Newton/Wilson and Newton/Luck.

Considering Newton/Luck are in different conferences this would likely mean a couple of SB match-ups, so I like it.

I don't care how good you are, the other team has to poo the bed in so many ways to blow that kind of lead. Some credit goes to Luck and the Colts, but that was a major choke job by the Chiefs. The bad part is I shouldn't care one way or the other, but I know that this means the media is gonna bash Luck over our heads now.

As Dennis Green would say, "If you wanna crown him, then crown him! But they are who we thought they were! The Chiefs let 'em off the hook!"

Why should we give him any prop? He didn't help us win anything. Why on the panther's forum? I don't see threads like that on other forums regarding our players. No props here for a guy that threw all his passes to one wide open receiver the whole game. Two teams with two average QB that didn't want to win. Nothing special here.

I was truly amazed watching Andrew Luck motivate his team back from a 28 point deficit at half. Even after throwing 3 interceptions (mostly his fault)

he was rallying his guys and shouting encouragement to both offense and defense. I wish Cam would would take a lesson from Andrew and not sit with a towel over his head sitting by himself when he is having a bad game. The sign of a true leader is to encourage your team ESPECIALLY when things are not going your way.

I guess you registered to post this. Thanks for the breaking news.

I am happy with Cam, but still can't stand Luck. But in all honesty I don't give a s.. t about him and his team.

I don't like Luck now and I won't like him when his team get blown out next week or at any point during his tenure in the NFL. And he'll never be great either because he'll never accomplish great things.
