I actually heard someone today say that whomever drafts Manziel needs to create a system for him.

I'm really good at this. They're so predictable. You should read my thread on Bridgewater which got locked for no apparent reason. Predicted his height, weight and hand size when everyone was pretending they had doubt over it. A society of hypocrites and liars. And they're so proud of it too.

That Mike Vick comparison certainly didn't last long with his 4.68 time. I remember watching his first unofficial run of 4.63 and then he follows with his second unofficial run of 4.56, I remember telling a friend sitting next to me that they gave him that 4.56 time on purpose. Off all the QBs he was the only one with a drastically better 2nd run. Low and behold his official time was 4.68. What did happen though was the 4.56 headlines throughout the media outlets. Exactly what they intended. They did similar thing with Luck being 'as athletic as Cam Newton'. Pretty funny the game the media plays.

And then you'll see an ESPN headline that says "Was Bridgewater the best QB of the 2014 draft class?". Like they didn't know. They have no shame. Keep embarrassing themselves.

They're so predictable.

 

On a different note, I really like Garcon though. I think he's very close to a #1 if not so. He gets open and catches everything thrown his direction. Great hands too.

Because he may or may not of stayed at school to avoid coming to Carolina because the lucks and the Richardson's don't like each other but and I admit I was one of those guys but the guy balled hard today and I gotta give him his props. Andrew Luck is just a marketing strategy. The NFL has a specific image it wants to sell and project, Luck just fit that image. They're just looking for people who fits that image. Since Peyton, Brees, and Tom are bound for retirement Luck is just a contestant and they'll ride him until they find the next guy who fits it to pass the bucket to. This is not about football nor sport.

I remember listening to an interview of a guy who used to work for ESPN and what he was saying is that they encouraged them to say the word T.Ebow in all their broadcast. The more the merrier. This is the same thing. It's all subliminal. You say it enough and get 2 of 1000 idiots to believe it, then it's a success. Kind of like the 419 scam. Send enough spam to people's inbox you'll get 4-5 morons out of 1000 to click and follow up with it. The media is not an intelligent entity. They're just playing the numbers game. If you include Luck in conversation about great people then he must be relevant, right?!

As much as I love cam lets not be blind to all the trouble he got into in college. That said no one is perfect and he has never had any issues as a pro which is great.

What trouble did he get into? ESPN took a non story and turned it into a scandal to both satisfy their egos and BAMA fans. Him supposedly stealing a laptop? I will believe it when it comes out of his mouth. Amazing how quickly some folks r willing to believe the story. I am sure if it was Luck or Luke they'd be given the benefit of the doubt. Such is the society we live in.
