Wait where did all the Luck bashers go? Thats weird, this thread sure was very active when he threw a pic. Strange....

I'm still here. The Colts is have a great OL, good WRs, and pretty good defense. Luck made every attempt to bury them with his TOs. Luck did well because he was playing on house money and prevent defense. I wanna see him play a strong game on all 4 quarters. Also, the objective is to win the super bowl. Beating Alex 'the bust' Smith during wild card weekend which couldn't even sell out doesn't mean much. It only means he earned a playoffs bonus.

Can't speak for everyone. But MOST "anti-Luck" post had to do with the differing REACTION to his poor performance vs Newton amongst PANTHERS fans.

 

I will say it again. The SAME posters criticizing Newton for not throwing a "better" game winning TD against the Saints were the SAME posters DEFENDING Luck while his QB rating hovered in the high thirties.

 

Give credit to Luck for the turn around, but Newton would have never been given an opportunity after the first PICK by some on here.

 

Its really sad and reeks of bias.

That may be true and may not. I have no idea. Again like i said before, im not an 11 year old who knows nothing. Ill bash bad throws even if they end up in TDs, and ill be proud of Cam even if he makes great throw that some how ends up picked off. Either way. As i said, i love cam. I have him as the 6th best QB in the league. Love that boy. However i have Luck at 5. Both great and pumped for the future

Oh, and I forgot to mention: The Indy Receivers were incredible this game. 

 

It would have been incredibly hard for Cam/The Panthers to make come back like this, cause I don't think Panther receivers would have repeatedly bailed out Cam (like the long chuck, hail mary), like they did for Luck or been open as Indy's was this game.

so cam is 75% worse than luck as a passer but is only one spot behind him in the rko football expert rankings?

 

also why do you love a quarterback who can't pass for poo in 70% of his games?  that doesn't sound "great".

 

these are your assertions and if you can't answer for them just say so.

Please log off. Cam Newton is 6th best QB all while being a bad passer 70% of the time...

Many do not realize how incredibly clutch his defense is. Luck is a wonderful football player and QB. I have never said otherwise. But the pass given to him by BOTH fans and the media is disturbing. 

Agree. Anyway, don't worry about that. If the goal here is to beat a team with Alex 'the bust' Smith then let him have his trophy. No one remembers the team that won a game on wild card weekend. Wild card games are akin to a crappy bowl games.

Edit: we dont use actual "numbers" here. We just say what we want and troll when people prove us wrong :)

One last thing about his defense. The only reason why Luck had so many 4th Quarter comebacks his rookie season was because the opposing offenses could not score in the 4th/ on the critical drives to take the lead.

 

The same thing happened tonight. If Smith was able to get just one more drive for a TD in all likelihood, the Colts lose.

 

Cam's 4th quarter come backs would double if Cam's defense could hold onto the lead when he exited the field. Chicago, the Bucs, and Atlanta last year. The Bills this year.

 

But I am not going to knock Luck's performance all that much. Great game.

I just knock the people on here who would be livid about 3 INTS from Cam.
