I said it before, these folks in today's media need to stop playing gods. Not every football fan is astute in the game of football but we're not all stupid either. Picking which QB will gone on to have success right out of college, while calling others "bust" and going out of their way to keep the label on them by scrutinizing them endless, while barely uttering  word of criticism on their "chosen QB, says more about those media folks than it does the QBs they endlessly hype.

 

I have always felt Luck was a decent QB but he's not Peyton nor is he Cam. Peyton made the team Luck is now playing with. Cam is more doing with the Panthers what Peyton did with the Colts. Luck is just doing what he's been doing while in college, managing the game. Notice the Colts have gone out and hires so much of Luck's coaching staff. While the Panthers have brought in whomever they want to work with Cam and he's adjusting just fine. It's a sad shame so many Panthers' fans are so blind by whatever motivates their biases that they would seriously say Cam and Luck are the same when in reality, it's those in the media who have painted Luck as the next best, who is creating that narrative between Luck and Cam. Right...

 

In the famous words of Public Enemy "Don't believe the hype." Luck is a glorified Alex Smith. I said it before and I will say it again.
