Hoops is far cheaper and easier sport to do pick up than any other sport.

Piggy backing what someone said about stats and such I have also said this about soccer.

Its one of the few if not only sport where it pays to go backwards. Hockey might be similar.

Every American sport is about going forward.

because it fuging sucks and it isn't a "tradition" like baseball. otherwise we wouldn't care about that either.

That is because they cannot throw in a commercial break every four minutes.

 

I've only watched a few soccer games, but the ones I have had ads superimposed all over the field and sidelines, flashing and 3d. They'd find a way.

hoops is pretty boring without...well...the hoop!  all you need for soccer is the ball and some space.

ever played soccer with 3 people? i know you can make your own goals. i have done that a million times.

 

plus i have made a hoop out of a bicycle rim.

I have... 1 on 1 with neutral goalie. It's actually fun.
