On a somewhat similar note, Boomer Esiason was on the Jim Rome show today talking about Manziel and had this to say:

 

"He likes to go out and drink..he's got an edge to him and I like it."

 

 

Interesting how Manziel has "an edge" while someone like Newton has "immaturity" and "character" issues.

That Gabbert wagon made no sense. I will admit that early in the process I wanted Nick Fairley and those 35'' arms before switching to Cam during the pre draft process.

The day Luck decided to stay McShay jumped on the Gabbert bandwagon. I thought I was going crazy when all these "experts" kept saying how Gabbert was more NFL ready and threw pro level throws. All I saw was a QB with happy feet, no pocket presence with an inaccurate arm.
