How would we match up against Green Bay in those elements?

I think we would have been playing all our guys, even with borderline health statuses like Smitty. The cold elements wouldn't bother me as much, seeing we are not a dome team. I think the Def would hold its own, and the Off would score enough against GB's weak def to win.

Because I am predicting an Eagles win, I just hope whoever wins the "real" game has what it takes to go into Seattle and win, bringing the NFCCG to Charlotte if we handle our business.

 

But to play along, we would go in there and win.  Tolbert would truck their defense repeatedly and Olsen would make clutch catches.  Our defense would tear them up.

I can't even imagine that... idk how those guys play it in or how the fans sit in it and watch.  I honestly don't think I could do either.

 

I think the Panthers could do ok in that weather...  same as playing Brees or Manning... we'd have to get our front 7 in Rodgers face and disrupt him or he'd tear the secondary apart.

Intense cold makes for a lower scoring game.  I like our defense and running game in a matchup like that.

Nope. Mine worked great in Fairbanks and it gets sub negative 40

We would match up pretty well given the run game become more important.

 

Our run D is nasty....theirs is atrocious.

Having spent a long 6 months in MN, i can tell you a -20 degrees in the wind is un freakn real...they is no where to hide and then when you get warm, your in pain for an hour. just sucks all around.

That said, cold frightens me to death for the health of players with regards to keeping muscles flexible throughout the game.....

 

....it would be so easy for a skill player to pull a hammy or quad after being dormant for even a few minutes..........
