We don't struggle with 3-4.....we struggle with good defenses

Saints, San Fran, Cards, Bills are top 10 defenses. Most top 5 defenses.

The Jets were the worst and finished as # 11.

this.

the number one defense in the league is a 4-3, and carolina struggled against them too...just like everyone struggles against carolina.

it's not a 3-4, 4-3 thing, it's an overall good defense thing.

Discussed here too:

Though i hadn't heard the Olsen mention...

Basically, every team in the NFC playoffs runs a 3-4 except Seattle and us, the top 2 seeds.

Everybody in the AFC playoffs runs a 3-4 except (surprise) the top 2 seeds, Denver and New England...and Cincinnati.

Anyone care to look up how our o-line has faired against 3-4s this season

You have to separate 3-4 defenses into 2 gap read and react versus 1 gap penetrating defenses.  We seem to struggle passing the ball against the 1 gap blitz happy defenses but we often can run against them and if cam breaks through the first level he has lots of running room..  We struggle running the ball against 3-4 read and react defenses.  But if Cam is on target, we can throw against these teams.
