Offseason NFL News

Fired/released? I hadn't heard much about anything other than Gilbride, and I don't see the Maras as pulling off any ultimatum type stuff.

As for replacing Gilbride, ex-Titan OC Dowell Loggains is going to interview in New York. Loggains is also joining Mike Munchak in his Detroit interview as a potential package deal. It might be a hard sell, as the Lions might be hesitant about replacing a failed coach from the Fisher tree with another branch of that same tree,

QB coach and ST coach, speculation they might be fired.

If I was the lions, I would do everything in my power to hire Whisenhunt. He is a tough-nosed coach and did wonders when he actually had a QB.

That team needs discipline. It needs to be beaten into shape. Ken would be perfect for that.

Overnight news:

Everyone in OAK is safe. Mark Davis even went as far to say there was "never a doubt" on retaining Allen.

Also now ex head coaches Tice and Sparano may be heading up OL's in ATL and TB, respectively.

In the TB GM search, a name that is surfacing as a candidate is Falcons director of player personnel Lionel Vital, who could be the 3rd person over the last 3 seasons (Snead, Caldwell) to ascend to GM.

Apparently, someone is interested in Marc Ross this offseason.

He's set to be interviewed by the Bucs.

Miami's going to kick the tires as well, but that might be too messy of a situation currently

Apparently a playoff win is enough for CLE to reverse course on their "we're not gonna retread any of last year's candidates" process this year, cause they want to talk to Whis.
