Eagles fans already counting chickens

Doubt we even find out about Philly. Even though I don't want to see NO go to Seattle (because it basically guarantees the NFCC game there)....I really do think Brees and co exercises the road demons and beats Philly by double digits.

NO defense is better than Philly...as is their offense.

Philly has a better overall offense than New Orleans

Have you watched Philly play? And yes they are ahead of the saints in total yards and total points.

Yeah I have.  I've also watched the Saints play.

Philly is good, even very good, but you're gonna have to sell me on 'better than New Orleans'.

Lol look it up then come back and apologize

New Orleans has played a much tougher schedule that Philly....that is a fact.

You cannot just take YPG and scoring per game at face value.  You need to look at who they put those numbers up against.

I am not going to argue about this, because it really does not matter.

We will see on Saturday....and I still say that NO wins by 10+

I'll give you that the Saints might win Hatter, but I'm not sold on it being by double digits.

Away game, outside, cold, non-artificial turf...Saints will be out of their element in a lot of ways.

No one...

The Eagles just don't scare me that much.  McCoy is a monster but no running back all year has sustained consistent success against our defense.  And their defense is average at best, with a healthy Smith we can move the ball on them as long as Cam is having a solid game.  The first round matchup that scares me the most would be GB.  Our secondary still scares the hell out of me, when we aren't getting pressure on the QB we'll get shredded.  Look at the Saints game in NO.  And it's not like any type of weather conditions would effect Aaron Rodgers because he plays on the Frozen Tundra, he can play through anything unlike Brees.  This is the order I'd most prefer: SF, PHILLY, GB

I can say I have been to Veterans stadium. They have played at Lincoln Financial Stadium since 2001 and the atmosphere is different.  Their fans are more rowdy and they let folks take off their shirts and do things that are not allowed in the family friendly BOA.  But that doesn't make them bad fans or assholes as a group although there surely are some.  If your experiences were at Veterans stadium  then you are talking about something that happened over a decade ago.

Hold a grudge long???

I was there for the last year of the Vet until after the 2003 season.  I went to the first game ever at the Linc (MNF vs the Bucs - Eagles lost), I went to tons of games while I was there.  Their fans are assholes and they take pride in it.  They love the fact that opposing team's fans can't wear jerseys in there without getting poo thrown at them.

Sometimes I wish BoA was more like Philly.  Certainly not to that extreme, but I remember after we lost to Dallas in either '04-'05 I walked out and the Cowboys fans had mounted the Panthers statues outside of the stadium.  That would never fly in Philly.

I think Philly is a much weaker opponent that people are thinking.

They beat no one during the season and had a final SOS at #27 in the league....as opposed to New Orleans at #4.

I have a gut feeling that the Saints exercise the road playoff demons in a big way Sat.....but then again I may be totally wrong.

See here is the thing you guys keep forgetting is that i picked the Saints to win big. You can also make that argument about the Saints running it up in the dome.
