Eagles fans already counting chickens

There is a huge difference between being classy and an asshole. You are using extremes here and most people are in the middle. And again I was an eagles fan for 40 years and I never threw anything at an opposing fan and none of the people I went with did it either. No one is saying there fans aren't loud and sometimes obnoxious and there are assholes among them. It just doesn't characterize all the 70,000 fans at all.

When I was there and someone wore the other teams jersey the entire section would chant "asshole". The entire section, not just 10 or 20%. And the people immediately surrounding that person would be the ones who had the responsibility of throwing food and beer on said person.

We are talking about the same fans here, right?

You might need to start hanging around a better class of person or better sections.  I went to dozens of game and no one I was with acted like that.  Birds of a feather flock together.

I don't defend their fans just don't agree with characterizing 70,000 people as all being the same.  I would defend anyone in that vein including you.

I too am friends with an eagles fan. Dude was positive the saints would beat our ass the second time around. I bet him a $100 we would win. Then I bought $100 worth of booze, got drunk and fuged his wife

I lived in south Jersey, right outside of Philly for 3 years right after college.  My best friend from college is from there, still lives there, and is a huge Eagles fan.  I spoke to him this morning abut their game against the Saints and how cool it would be if they win so that he can come down to Charlotte and watch the game with me next weekend.  

 

Even though I already knew the answer because I lived up there and know how those fans are, I asked him what all the Ealges fans were saying about the playoffs.  He said everyone up there (excluding him because he follows the Panthers because of me) is saying that if they can get past the Saints and SF wins that the Eagles will have a cakewalk against the Panthers and possibly host the NFCC game.  He said we are getting zero respect from the Eagles fans, and that they are all planning on coming down to Charlotte in HUGE numbers if they beat the Saints.  

 

I swear to God.....if we let them take over our city and stadium like they did last time they played here when they brought 8 bus loads of fans down, yes 8 BUS LOADS, I am going to lose my poo.  

 

I want the Eagles not only because I want SF to go to Seattle, I want to beat the piss out of those cocky fans and give them 9 hours of driving up 95 to think about it.  

Individually they are pretty cool but if you get a bunch of them together,they are a bunch of assholes!I do wish Panther fans had the same amount of passion they did minus the assholery!

Let me ask everyone.............what team out there among those we could play for the first round of the playoffs having the combination of the fastest receivers with the best deep passing QB???

 

That is our Achilles heel on defense (everything else we got covered)

That is what concerns me with our secondary.........a team with that weapon can run the score up on us.

 

Right now I think the best combo on that among those teams playing this weekend in order of the best first are........Saint or Philly........Green Bay..........SanFran
