Wild Card Weekend Predictions

Saints on the road are almost as bad as Clemson in Chapel Hill. I say almost because they haven't racked up the number of losses and yet their win total remains the same.

Trends don't lie but were made to be broken. The Saints are really gonna give Philly everything they have.

The real question is which Philly team shows up? The stomp a mud hole in your ass Eagles or the get blown out by 35+ Eagles?

San Fran is on a mission and I can't see the Packs defense getting off the field on 3rd downs. Frank Gore can shoulder the load here and get the Niners into the next round.

The Chiefs are on the decline and Indy already routed these guys in Arrowhead. Colts win by 8+.

The Bengals because Chargers.

27-19 Chargers over Bengals -- Chargers are seeking revenge and it's their second look at this Bengal team.  Woodhead and Allen go nuts.  Bengals lay an egg.

30-20 Colts over Chiefs -- Chiefs still look good despite their late season slide, but I don't see them pulling it out.

24-20 Eagles over Saints -- I like the Eagles.  Seems like a lot are going with the Saints but I see Foles matching Brees' production and them coming out on top.

31-17 49ers over Packers -- San Fran runs over the Packers defense.  Rodgers still does something but it's not enough.

Home teams 2-2

I agree with Zod, and I hope it plays out that way since SF is the only team that I think has a chance to beat Seattle at home and force the NFCC game to come to Charlotte.

Yup, this is what I'm hoping for as well - don't think GB or NO stand a chance of beating SEA.

Before this season we had never beaten Miami or Matt Ryan in the dome. Do we really want to talk about what teams have "never" done. They still have one of the best qbs in the game and one of the best play callers. I don't like them either but I respect them as a football team and I'm not ignorant to their abilities.

If the football Gods hadn't sent that rain in we'd probably be on our way to Philly right now.

So the rain in Carolina dampens their awesomeness, but the snow and cold in Philly won't?

Colts over Chiefs 31 - 17

Colts take a quick lead and the Chiefs go into halftime down 21-3. First play of the 2nd half Charles breaks an 80 yard run for a TD. Andrew Luck then throws his third int only to have Flowers get to the 5 yard line, drop the ball too early in celebration and Trent Richardson picks it up and runs 95 yards down the field for a TD.

Saints over Eagles 55 - 52 OT

Turns into a shoot-out with the Saints edging out the Eagles with a 45 yard field goal by Graham to win the game.

Bengals over Chargers 24 - 13

Bengals are a better team. Nothing against the Chargers, but Cincy is my sleeper pick to go to the Super Bowl.

Packers over 49ers 21 - 17

7 degrees outside with 15 mph winds. Enough said. I think this ones close, but I think the Packers edge out the 49ers with a sack of Kapernick on the last hail mary play of the game causing all those Santa Clara loving 49ers fans to collectively poop their pants.

You think Carolina can go into Seattle & steal a win?

I am a bit worried if SF comes to Charlotte...
