I never want to hear Panther fans referred to as lightweight or fairweather again

Bitchy resting face?

No, he makes a point of try to appear totally neutral when he's in public view at the game... he feels it's a stabilizing presence for both the team and the fans.

You can agree/disagree with this, but the bottom line is that's why he does it - it's not because he doesn't care.

By all accounts, it's a different story once the game is over.

Yup, have heard that myself and if you've read some of the books about the team (which I'm sure you have) then you know JR is one of the most passionate and competitive owners in the league, he just doesn't believe in putting that on display during the game.

I've seen you in person dude.

Nobody is calling you "lightweight"

I was kidding. Of course we all know what the excuse is because its been parrotted a million times by now. The real reason is he's fuging old and senile. Go look back at footage ten or fifteen years ago. Back then he didn't make his wife stand and clap for him.

A Philly fan just told me that we only sold out so quick bc Philly fans were buying up the tickets in anticipation of beating NO in the wild card and then making the trip to Charlotte. Their goal is to get 75% of BoA filled with green.

Those fuging white trash losers aren't getting my fuging seats.

So from what I read abut this situation their season ticket holders were asked in November to pay for 2 playoff tickets but they were not guaranteed to get their money back, instead it would have been applied towards regular season games next year. Seeing as how Rodgers was gone and things looked bleak they refused. That's how they're left with so many unsold tickets.

You should tell him they are doing a terrible job. There are 5,000 tickets for sale on ticket exchange. The week before the Bucs game there were less than 2,000.

I don't think this team has ever had a home blackout. Ticket sales aren't an issue.

Crowd volume has been at times, but it's no great shock to get more enthusiastic fan support when you're winning.

Sales are never an issue but there are times when ticket utilization is.

    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
    • The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
    • I would say maybe 8 in a tier by themselves and all but 2 where picked in the top of the first allen pat m stroud burrow jackson hurts (maybe) Herbert Stafford
