My buddy lives in Charleston. He said that a grocery store there had Falcon Cheerleaders and representatives giving away Falcon's stuff for some type of promotion. He said the overhead speaker was saying things like "....and remember to watch your Atlanta Falcons this Sunday!"  Also, prior to this year, the tv stations would routinely not carry the Panthers' game.  Doesn't exactly scream Panther Country.

 

There are plenty of Panther fans here in Charleston, there are unfortunately just as many transplanted steeler/pats/philly fans around.  As for the local stations routinely not carrying Panthers game, I guess he's referring to the two or three games they didn't air when Jimmy was at the helm...  Funny thing is the non existent fan base here complained enough to Fox that they apologized and carried the rest of the games.  As for the poll, where is it? ESPN, maybe that's why I missed it and didn't vote.

I am a loyal Panthers fan from day one!  I'm a PSL owner and travel 3 hour one way each home game!  I live in Summerville SC and there our plenty true hard core not wine and cheese panthers fans in Summerville.

Either you or your buddy is full of poo. I live in the Charleston area and every Panthers game has been televised here since I can remember. Since story two is a crock of poo, I'm sure story one is also as worthless as tits on a man.

I voted. Happy now? I lived in NC for the first four years of my life and I know live in SC. I'll probably move to Charlotte after college. SC/NC Alaska? Doesn't matter to me a Panthers fan is a Panthers fan.

It's crazy how people will talk about opposing teams taking over BOA, but then try to alienate SC.

Greenville SC is nice and the Panthers fan base is growing here for sure... Still have older Falcons fans, and that is tough because they are in the same division ...
