Stewart and the playoffs

A lot of it is the RBs getting 0 or 1 yard.....you can't keep handing it off. Can't go run run run punt bc they aren't getting consistent yards to even try that feat

What games are you watching?

There was one game all season that is remotely close to what you're saying... against the Falcons in week 17. I'm sure it was really difficult for them to figure out "Steve Smith is out, so we run blitz when Ben Hartsock is on the field"

I might even give you the Pats game though DWill only rushed 6 times.

the d will hate is laughable smh

it really is... But it is mainly coming from one guy...

CRA really did fix his mouth to say DeAngelo RARELY does anything. When someone says something as idiotic as that, how can you take anything he says serious. I have never seen a contingent hang on 2 16 yard plays against the saints the way #28 fans have been. "He was just coming into his own." Oh ok....

Against that very front 7 IN Tampa DLo had 8 carries for 43 yards and a TD. That's a 5.4 average and guess who didn't play. DLo often times just needs more carries

And the main reason I brought up that game is because you said he was starting to get on a roll. You call that a roll?

I didn't say he was getting on a roll.....

I just defend him when people act like he shouldn't see the field bc of Williams (who isn't actually running well). He just has the random nice run.

Tolbert and Stewart's style fits what we do. Williams needs more work as a recieving option in space.....

Stewart showed nothing when he got in games this year. I would activate him but keep him on the bench unless Deangelo can't get it going.

False. He showed he could go forward. He also looked no worse than Williams in most games they both played in

It isn't worth the energy to show you that Williams is a bad run, bad run bad run bad run, good run RB in our current offense.

Defending Stewart is Williams hate? You guys are so on Williams junk you bash Stewart for no reason. All I am doing is defending 28 and saying why all 3 need to play.

Williams should not be keeping Tolbert and Stewart off the field if they are healthy. This is comical. 28 deserves his reps as a rusher in this O

For me... i'd love to see tolbert get the start. Stewart in for relief as necessary. and Dwill used almost exclusively for outside runs and screens. Tolbert and Stewart dont have the explosiveness that Dwill has, but both of them can bounce off defenders. all this about Williams needing a bunch of plays to get in a rhythm is bullcrap. Those are plays we could be gaining yardage. instead, we put our trust in someone who will barely scratch 20 yards on his first 6 carries? it doesnt make sense. use the Bowling Ball in short yardage/goal-line situations, and half of all inside runs. Give Stewart the other half of our inside runs. Give Dwill the ball for our outside runs and screens due to his agility and acceleration. Why Shula cant figure this out is beyond me...

You're a damn clown. What did I say in my damn post that was bashing Jonathan? STFU... What ur doing all on this thread is bashing a player for no reason. You are quick to say someone is sensitive in regarding Williams, but you don't realize how foolish you sound in tearing down a player to build another one up. You are the sensitive one in regards to #28. You have turned a thread about #28 into a Williams indictment session. You're a joke. Have a seat.... I'm done talking and responding to your nonsense. You are helpless....

Maybe you should read exactly what I say....instead if just pretending I hate Williams.

I have clearly stated Williams has a place in our offense. So does Tolbert. So does Stewart.

Williams needs to be put in space. Tolbert and Stewart need to run through trash piles. THAT isn't bashing ANYONE. It is being able to talk about our O realistically. Williams isn't the best option for all situations a RB can be used if we are healthy.....the other guys need to play

My Williams talk is usually bigger picture than just him in a vacuum. The OL, scheme, what we are trying to go as an O, other runners styles.....all that matters. a methodical power run O behind a pooty OL......simply doesn't make the answer to every question Williams running. Tolbert and a healthy Stewart come into play.

The problem is that we have too many backs and we haven't figured out a way to use them all effectively. I mean look at Barner. Everyone fantasized about what he would do this season, and he hasn't seen the field.

If they are all healthy, it is impossible to use them all effectively IMO.

If I had my way, I would just play Tolbert as the featured RB this postseason. Work in Williams as the 3rd downish RB and Stewart some rush attempts to spell Tolbert.

Or, I would just go shotgun with Cam all game now that the postseason is here. Sprinkle in some zone read with everyone.... And let Cam do his thing. We only have a max of 3 games left.

We need to fix our OL. We are wasting a lot of downs right now with our weak traditional run as is....

I think Cam needs to unleash this postseason. All year he's been playing on a leash. They need to unleash him if we are going to make a run.
