I left my guts in San Francisco

So apart from making fun of bandwagon 49ers fans, riding streetcars, and accidentally walking into gay bars, my visit to San Francisco has sucked.

Two nights ago I ate at a Chinese restaurant on Columbus Avenue called Hong Kong Suh. The food didn't taste too bad and the restaurant seemed legitimate.

However, I woke up the next morning and the first thing I did was puke into the kitchen sink. Since then I've been puking everywhere and feeling as if I was gonna die. I fought my illness to go see the Golden Gate Bridge and Muir Woods, only to projectile vomit off the bridge and almost resort to calling an ambulance because I felt so bad. I'm convinced I have food poisoning.

Today I feel much better but still a little bit nauseated. I haven't eaten anything besides a Chewy bar and a cookie in the past 48 hours. I can't fathom getting drunk tonight at all.

My question is...is it worth fighting my illness and potentially getting sicker to go party on New Year's in SF? Or should I stay in and just rest? I'm torn here.

Sorry you're entire impression of SF is being determined by a lousy Chinese restaurant. And accidentally backing walking into gay bars.... should have stayed out of the Castro District.

The Marina and Mission districts both have great places to eat. Damn, I feel bad for ya, it really is a great city.
