I disagree. I think the redskins need to totally rebuild... They are in an incredibly shitty situation.

Going with a young defensive mind that has seen cam newton, drew Brees, and Matt Ryan play every year is a smart move.

They also need to bring in someone that won't take poo from from RG3, but at the same time, won't throw people under the bus like shanahan did.

But, this go for both Rg3 and Stafford. Both of their game needs help and would highly benefit under an offensive minded.

Lets remember that just a few weeks ago, fans were vouching for an offensive minded HC for Cam to replace Rivera. Same situation here with RG3.

Cam, Wilson, Luck......all have defensive minded HCs. All 3 IMO are better than Kapernick and RGIII who have had offensive minded HCs.

All that matters is getting a good HC who puts good people around a young QB

I'd say as long as a very good OC comes in, it should be fine.

If I was the redskins, though, I'd try to get Greg roman on someone like him. A tough guy, with an established plan on offense.

Smartest thing they can do is find a good HC. You don't have to find an offensive HC.....only 50% had offensive minded HCs this year.

You have RG3! You have STAFFORD! Youre gonna most likely try and pair him up with an offensive minded HC who can utilize their potential to the highest. Then hire a damn good DC.

RG-Mes biggest issues is he is a turd, has to much power, and no one is teaching him how to move on from a gimmick crutch scheme......and his poor running. A good defensive HC can address what RG-Me needs and give him the coaches

Shula has been huge for Newton.

And Cam and RGIII don't have to be clones.....for RG to of needed a Shula. It is glaring that RGIII didn't have a Shula grooming him. Shula for all his faults has a great track record working with QBs.

You think all Shula did was tell Cam you need to quit just making a TD just about you and to celebrate with kids? He was in Cam's ear the moment he arrived. Always grooming and teaching. Not just playbook and footwork. Go back and listen to Cam talk about Shula and Ron. Shula was the father figure and should of been....that is why Ron brought him here

Yeah, Ron gets credit too. Cam's days here were mostly Shula's time though. Just the way the time/job breaks down.
