Most teams with a bye are taking a couple days off most likely to lick their wounds and such. While the rest are bringing in the new year, or whatever, McD will be pissing away his time off in DC. Don't think it a biggie.

Um, teams with a bye have 3 teams to start prepping for......as well as still trying to improve what they do. This isn't the time when coaches take a couple days off

They aren't on vacation and taking time off. Plus they have self scouting. Players may get time off to recover. Time isn't something these coaches have extra they don't know what to do with

I disagree. I think the redskins need to totally rebuild... They are in an incredibly shitty situation.

Going with a young defensive mind that has seen cam newton, drew Brees, and Matt Ryan play every year is a smart move.

They also need to bring in someone that won't take poo from from RG3, but at the same time, won't throw people under the bus like shanahan did.

Smartest thing they can do is find a good HC. You don't have to find an offensive HC.....only 50% had offensive minded HCs this year.

Look at the playoff teams this year. All 4 teams with a bye......defensive HCs.

The Skins will get back this off season the 36 million cap penalty they've dealt with the last 2 years.

They'll be buying some talent for the roster for sure, but still are shipping their #1 picks to St. Louis from the RG3 deal.

Some good, some bad with this roster.
