Vick spent his first night of freedom at a strip club

No one is saying that it was wrong....just that it was pretty stupid to do it the night before meeting with Goodell.

Exactly. If he has any hope of any corporate endorsements or even some bargaining chips for contract talks you would think he would at least portray himself in a more positive light. But again, you can't fix stupid.

So what, it shouldn't have any barring on his re-reinstatement into the NFL , its not against NFL rules its not Illegal in anyway.

People that are "Against" this are either pure Vick haters looking for any excuse to blast the guy or are wrongly applying a social stigma to going to a strip club, when in fact all types of people from ghetto thugs to wealthy businessman go to these venues, so what, MEANS NOTHING

Just because he is trying to get back into the NFL doesn't mean he has to lead this church going, spend 24hrs a day his family, milk drinking lifestyle.

Just Be who he is , operate within the rules don't do anything stupid & he will be fine.

If I'd just got out after spending 23 months in jail I'd have to feel sorry for the first woman I had sex with. She better bring about 4-5 females cuz I'd be wanting it over and over and with as many as possible. Maybe thats what dumbass was thinking but I would have had them all come over to my place instead of in public.

House arrest means he can't leave outside of the hours he is not at work. Does not mean he can't have visitors. People may come and go from his house. To think vick didn't have a lady friend not visit him is stupid. I'm sure he still has a couple hanging around that would help him out. After the time he spent actually locked up in federal prison going to a strip club to merely look at a woman is also stupid. Going to the club while tryng to fix what he has done is even more stupid. Considering what he is trying to salvage makes it even extra stupid. That point is not "moot".

No need for quotes around moot, as it is a real word.

How does going to a strip club at all have any baring on whether he is remorseful for funding and taking part in dog-fighting?

Vick's case is completely unrelated to Pacman's, as Vick was not in a strip club when a murder occurred, nor did he insight a fight in a strip club which led to a murder. Furthermore, he has never had a known history of visiting strip clubs. This, in itself, makes the whole hubbub about his visit to the strip club nothing more than people climbing into a pulpit and playing the holier than thou card.

Never been a strip club, MCCNASTY?

I'm sorry for you.

The point is not that going to a scrip club is illegal, but the PERCEPTION on going to said scrip club. It's not illegal, and not immoral. But when you are trying to convince Roger Goodell, the league president, you have reformed from bad habits, going to a scrip club is not the best evidence.

No one is saying it's wrong, just that it's not the best thing to do to improve your image.

I don't see why that fact is so hard to understand.

Going to a strip club is indicative of bad habits? Perhaps indicative of wasting money... but totally unrelated to whether he is reformed from his former misdeeds.

I have no problem with him going to a strip club, so it does nothing in regards of preventing him from having an improved image for me... so much for your "fact"

:)

"Some will sell their dreams for small desires

Or lose the race to rats

Get caught in ticking traps"

Rush "Subdivisions"

Illegal? No

Do I begrudge him a little fun? No

Could this be the grain of sand that keeps his life heading downhill? Certainly could.

Straw that breaks the Camels Back certainly fits.

If you are about to go talk to Goodell after his recent "Strip Club" struggles with PacMan probably a good place to avoid for now. Goodell could easily interpret this action as disrespectful towards him and decide to let Vick stew for a while and in the meantime his window could close altogether.

Michael "Con" Vick not so smart.

I am reasonably sure his advisor Coach Dungy would have advised against this action had he been consulted

I worked at a strip club. So don't be sorry. I agree there is nothing wrong with them. However like some of other people here realize and understand is that it is a matter of perception and timing. You missing that point makes me feel sorry for you.
