But on the other hand, you know ... there are unclothed women in there. In the pen, it's nothing but the fellas. The day that a man who was locked up for two years cannot go out and pay to see some lady parts is the day I no longer want to call myself an American.

Going to a strip club is not illegal. It doesn't make anyone a bad person. Most people are not Pacman Jones, and can go to a strip club without having to seek legal counsel the next morning.

Illegal isn't the discussion here. It's the decision making process. This is not what anyone would consider smart preperation for the biggest job interview of their life.

No, it's not illegal; but the point about the impression it makes on Roger Goodell (the man who will decide Vicks fate, and also a man who's had to deal with guys like Pac Man Jones) is a valid one.

100% agree... if he wants to see naked lady parts, rent a porno. He is free and clear to go wherever he wants... he is free and clear to continue to make stupid decisions. He will only have himself to blame when he is never given the chance to play football again.

I don't see anything wrong with it personally. Yeah, going the first night out is bad timing if Goddell takes offense, but he'd be a fool to take that into consideration of his decision, although the court of public opinion has to weigh in on the matter and it's not good so far, I don't understand why, but I don't have to understand. If I'd been in jail for almost 2 years, I'd want to see some female flesh myself. Now I've only been to strip clubs a half a dozen times in my life, but I've got nothing against them. He didn't make it rain and there was no shooting or anything, let it go... :lol:

not illegal but no also not a great decision. As a responsible adult I definitely wouldn't go there if I wanted a job in the NFL and just got out of jail but I also wouldn't find myself in prison for dog fighting either.

Trying to clean up his image and get reinstated in the NFL, it's just a stupid decision. I'd probably be thinking the same thing if I just got out of prison, but in his situation I'd get my friends to rent a hotel room and hire some strippers or something along those lines. Basically, whatever I could do to keep it out of the public eye. No way I would just walk into a strip club.
