Sound Off: Packers, Niners, or Eagles?

Eagles...SF will go to Seattle and knock them off.

NFCC game in Charlotte

only problem would be the SF rematch. i firmly believe the panthers can win against any team in the NFC and AFC brackets but SF is the scariest one in the NFC for me. i would also rather not play the Pack Attack with Rodgers at the helm. not with the porous secondary the panthers have. my hope is that the eagles win. a NFCCG in Charlotte would be great, but i believe we can beat Seattle in in their house. i dont care who wins the GB/SF game. SF is the only one of the two that could beat Seattle in Seattle, but do i want meet SF in the playoffs? Not at all.

I like our odds playing SF here over Seattle there

My points are facts, so not sure how they can be "laughable".

1) Elite QBs have shredded our D.

2) Chip Kelly shredded our D in the preseason and he has continued to do it this whole season ie one of if not the top offense in the NFL

3) We match up well with SF and SEA. Both teams like to run the ball, something we are good at stopping and defending.

Take the blinders off bro.

here's how they are laughable:

1)  You said NO is due for a road win.  To start with, that's not a "fact" like you claim you were making.  That's just like Mike Golic saying the Panthers are going to be one and done because they haven't been blowing people out.  Both ridiculous statements based on God knows what and certainly not a fact....which is laughable.

2)  Drew Brees absolutely shredded our D in the first game....I agree with that.  But that was also in their Dome where they are unbeatable, which was also a factor in that game?  Brady had a good second half again us but 1) We beat them, and 2) they only scored 20 points.  That's not getting shredded, man.  Just for the record we also beat Brees, Kap, and Wilson.  All are pretty damn good QBs. Saying our D has been shredded by elite QBs isn't a fact as you claim.  Elite QBs give ALL teams a hard time.  Elite Ds also give you the best chance to prevail in the playoffs.

3)  You're using a preseason game to evaluate how we will perform against the Eagles?  Seriously....think about that for a second.  You're talking about practice and you're talking about before we started playing like the team we are  This one is the most laughable and needs no further explanation.

Here are some facts that you should consider:

1)  SF has won 6 games in a row and other than the game against us and the Saints (there's that Dome again) they have dominated everyone they've played.

2)  Both SF and Seattle are better teams than the Eagles, Packers, and Saints.  Not to mention their Ds are MUCH better than the Eagles or Packers.  With the way our O is playing we should be aware of that.

3) SF going to Seattle gives the Panthers the best chance of hosting the NFC Championship.

4) If we are scared to play the Eagles then we should just go ahead and call it a season.

Stop calling people homers or saying they have blinders on because you disagree with them.  And if you're going to do it, at least make better points than the ones you made.

what makes you say that? i view them equally risky

I think they are comparable teams. I like our chances at home over playing in Seattle....arguably the mist difficult venue fir an away team.

Just like I would rather play Seattle here over SF there...if that situation were possible. Even though it isn't.

I want the Eagles, THEN the Packers, and finally the Broncos.

Whoever said that the Eagles have too much speed, have you seen our defense?  We can get beat by a speedster, but sideline to sideline we've got one of the best units in the NFL.

possible but fairly unlikely. i dont think Rodgers has the tools to torch that Seattle secondary

Probably the fact that Seattle is 7-1 and almost unbeatable at home and we are also 7-1 at home.  Home games in the NFL mean something.

points taken guys now that you mention it. and i'll be shockingly honest as a panthers fan... i would much rather the Panthers be hosting the NFCCG.

Yep....that's what it's all about to me, and I think Hatter is right there with me, hosting the NFCC game gives us the best chance at the Super Bowl.  Doesn't mean we can't get there other ways or that we're definitely there if it is at home, but having that game at home means 1) we are at home (duh), and 2) we're not playing IN Seattle.  That gives us the best chance of making it.

I want SF again.  Kaepernick looked lost last time with the pass rush and wasn't able to find his open receivers even when he created a little time....I don't think a vet like Rodgers will panic like that.  I don't know what's happening in Philly but I'm scared of it.

I agree about SF................we really got to them in the game and made Kaepernick look bad.............

Each playoff game at home will have the crowd 12th man factor more and more relevant...........Panther fans at BOA have demonstrated in recent games they are up for the job to confuse visiting team communications...........

Look how beatable the Hawks looked at BOA early this year their home field advantage is their shield of confidence...........same with Saints of course.

Just work it this way.................

The more we can play at home now the better.............give me Philly first then either SF/GB for the NFCC game here, preferably SF.
