DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Riley Cooper, Zach Ertz, Bryce Brown, and Brent Celek are way too damn fast for our defense. Mike Wallace burned us. Tavon Austin burned us. Vincent Jackson burned us. We'd get shredded by them. Rooting for the Saints to go try and take care of business in Seattle.

 

Packers have a shitty OL for our pass rush to dominate. Their defense isn't good or opportunistic. Rodgers is scary and that's it. I bet we could handle Nelson and Cobb.

 

49ers are clones of us except the secondary is better and our pass rush is better. Oh, and Cam's better. But they have Crabtree back from the last game and Vernon Davis would presumably play the whole game instead of one half. Definitely the scariest.

 

Packers > Eagles > 49ers

Eagles is the ONLY option here if you're thinking big picture. SF and GB could both possibly win in Seattle. SF at least gets physical with them.

Why the hell would the media want a GB vs. Seattle game? They're already getting a Playoffs rematch of last season this weekend: GB vs. SF. The Packers d is awful and the media knows Wilson would crush them.

 

If you're just afraid about playing the 49ers just say so. I want the 49ers.

You're kidding right? If I really have to explain this then I'm worried about you. Here's a hint...He plays QB.

I want the NFC Championship in Charlotte. SF going to Seattle gives us the best chance of that happening. GB is second best chance. NO is no chance. So while you're all pumping your chest about playing the 9ers, I'd rather be at BoA vs them in the Championship. Wow...now doesn't that make a lot of sense?

In which case we get San Fran anyway assuming we beat the Eagles. While I don't put much stock in preseason, the inability of our front 4 to even get minimal pressure in that game concerns me. I realize it may seem petty but the fact or the matter is that the most basic thing we do to win games was stopped.

The good thing about playing the Eagles would be what Chris Collinsworth noticing, Nick Foles becomes a deer in headlights when his first read isn't there and he becomes prone to floating passes. In my opinion, he's very Mike Glennon esque so I don't doubt our ability to contain them at home.
