Next year our division will not be a cake walk...

Tampa is the only team that doesn't worry me. You'll have a rookie QB learning a new system again and a team in flux after just two years with their last HC.

We need to take VJax and Barron off their hands.

pretty sure Andre Johnson won't be a Texan next year. His contract will be more affordable than VJax.

Meh, it seems every year there's at least one team in the NFCS that just completely tanks.  Both Atlanta and Tampa tanking this year makes up for three 7-9 teams last year.  Next year I expect Atlanta to be back strong, Tampa to improve, and New Orleans to completely fall apart.  They are overdue.

I was thinking the same thing. It is comforting to know, however, that we have a decidedly old school GM that doesn't believe in making rash moves or bankrupting the team in order to get some immediate satisfaction at the expense of the long term bigger picture.  Although I would have preferred taking a chance on Josh Gordon because it would not have cost that much in the grand scheme of things, and would have helped us during this post-season, I can respect that way that G-man goes about his business.

G-man and Rivera have turned this defense around fairly quickly on a Dollar Store budget. I wonder what they can do on a Wal-Mart budget. He added some serious hog mollies and solid play makers on defense. I suspect he'll continue to solidify talent and experience overall, but focus on getting the necessary play makers at WR this season during the draft.  Rivera seems like a home run hitter during the draft with those top picks, and being that G-man has pretty much described himself as a guru in talent acquisition, I wouldn't be surprised if we put and keep some distance between ourselves and our division foes. That's what I am hoping for anyway.

I'll call it, this was the Saints last hurrah with a fully gunning Drew Brees.  He's getting older, and at some point he's gonna start to slow down, especially if their O-line doesn't protect better or their run game doesn't get cranked up.  They'll be decent next year, but I don't think they'll be a super bowl contender.  Atlanta got their injury bug out of the way this year, and I don't think it'll hit them again, but who knows how Julio comes back, and I've always thought Ryan was a product of great talent around him and not because of his own god given QB ability.  With a QB and coach Tampa could be the most dangerous of the lot.  Their lines arent bad, great RB, Great WR in V-Jax, and Darrell Revis.  Frankly, TB could have a KC type turn around with the right coaching hire, but it's also just as likely that they screw up their hire yet again.
