Why would they hire a Coach and a GM simultaneously? Isn't it standard practice to hire a GM, then let the GM find a coach?

They're only down a touchdown. If they cause a fumble on the opposing 30 and recover, they've got a shot to tie/win the game. I don't like Schiano, but this play I have no problem with.

In the end, he just wasn't a "Schiano man".

 

I am someone who does not like Schiano and never lets an opportunity to bash the Bucs go by, but I agree.  I wish the NFL would adopt some rule where you have to gain yards for the clock to run or something, then there would be no kneel downs which means this would not happen.  I hate that the leading team can essentially stop playing before the sixty minutes is up, but I find it silly that the opposing team is expected to just sit there and accept it.

Even if they do bring in somebody good, I figure it'll take them at least a year to sort out the mess they have there and get everybody on the same page. That should give the rest of us another year to get our own houses in order, and of course, bitch slap the Bucs two more times before the end of that run!
