I was a Steelers fan before the Panthers came into existence. To me, Steelers' fans are not even in the same class as Cowboys' fans.  As a rule, I find Steelers' fans to be knowledgeable---much like Packers' and Patriots' fans. You can find assholes in any fan base. Hell, I wish this place would be more classy sometimes. To be honest, I think that the real reason people hate Steelers' fans is because of this:

Every over enthusiastic and arrogant Steelers "fan" I have ever known will brag and brag if the Steelers are winning, but cannot tell you what their record is, who they play next, or who they have played.

If the Steelers are losing, those same fans always say "I haven't been keeping up with it".
