Boy Ron has really developed into a good coach.

I didn't see the second half of the game today at all..... I had a funeral to be at. So I can't say either way. I've caught every other game thus far though.

Ron Ron would have cost the Panthers the game today, if Atlanta didn't fumble that snap. Let's put it that way. 

 

That's all I'll say. Don't even want to go into it too much since the Panthers won. 

 

But Rivera was extreeeeeeeeemely lucky/fortunate today. 

 

But when you think about it? Touche, after what happened to the Panthers down there last year. 

 

Nonetheless, Rivera was about to repeat the same mistake in Atlanta as he did last year. Too scared/trust in the defense.

He is not bad. But DG and JR will keep him on a short leash going into next year. If RR puts up another winning season. Then his job will be safe for a few more years afterwards. That is unless Ron leads us to the SB and win it all. Then all is forgiven. But unless he has back to back winning season. RR will still be on short leash next year. He screws up and has another below .500 season after having a good one like this. Then he will out the door. Bet on it.

I've been impressed with the turnaround and will say I was wrong about Ron. But you have to wonder, is he a good coach who was unlucky the first two years or a bad coach who was lucky ths year. I prefer to think he improved along with the players, but not sure we can be 100% sold yet.
