Was the bad snap really a mistake?

I honestly feel that something fishy was going on. Final drive for the game winning kick and the center snaps at "Keek is the Mike". If I were to throw the game discretely that is exactly what I would tell my center. Hey center when I say mike you will hike it and it will look like we screwed up. The season is over anyway and we could really use help next year.

The falcons would in no way make it obvious they were throwing the game. Can you imagine the hammer Goodell will lay down if he finds out a team threw a game on purpose lol probably worse than bounty gate if you ask me. The opportunity showed up for the falcons and they took it. This is all speculation of course as there is no way to prove it.

What's sad is I knew this thread was going to come up. Panthers fans have become so accustomed to those types of plays going the other way that we (as a fan base) in general don't know how to react when crazy things go are way.

This honestly sounds as silly as a Falcons fan saying... "I wonder if Nakamura let Roddy White get behind him on purpose."

I highly doubt it was intentional. I think it was just a summary of how our entire season played out and one last "FU" from the football gods.

Either way, congrats on this division championship. I would definitely rather it be you guys than the Saints.

He laid on the ball because nobody had touched him, could he have been waiting to get touched making him officially down by contact? He couldve tried to pick up the ball as it was live, but looked to me like he was protecting the fumbled rock... But what do I know? They could have conspired to conspire that ending...

Conspiring to lose for a better draft slot is stupid and any organization that considers it is doomed unless they get rid of that mentality. It fosters a culture that winners don't have. Every Falcons player and coach wanted to win that game. You could see it in the effort on the field and on the faces on the sideline.
