Browns To Fire Chudzinski [edit: he got dumped]

Browns....what a mess. No matter what you think of him, it is not fair to Chud.  I think we were all surprised he got an HC gig (count me among those who are grateful from a Panther perspective). But, geez...give the man a chance.

While it does seem fast to get rid of him, if what we are hearing is true this may be the better move for the organization. Sometimes a guy struggles because it's a new world to him and he needs to figure out how to be a head coach. Sometimes a guy struggles because he has a vision and it doesn't matter what other people think, he's going to do it regardless of the results. I think Chud is much more of the latter than the former, and he managed to make a lot of people upset in that locker room in a short period of time, just as he did here. He's a smart guy when it comes to football, but maybe not so much when it comes to people.

Huh? I'm not trying to jump into this argument:

But It was "Chud's offense" that screwed up Cam's first half of the season in the first place (not his "growing pains"), and Rivera has already acknowledged this to Albert Breer at NFL.com

And it took Chud, making the offense more conventional, when Cam played much better the second half of the season, after the Chud first half shenanigans.

This is all documented via Albert Breer, and local papers. This is not the National Media or fans, who don't follow the Panthers or Cam's development.

I had a huge argument about this while it was going on, had a thread that didn't just get locked but deleted altogether(was like 12 pages long), only reason I didn't bring it back up at the end of the season and do a big "see here!".

I have no clue who Albert Breer is so should I care?

as I said before the unconventionalism of the offense was due to the poor play of the Defense, it's one of those things where you win you are a genius you lose you are a idiot, I don't react nearly that bad to things as most fans here and look at the bigger picture, been screaming about the Defensive issues and explaining it's impact on the Team for two years and we finally get the Defense and Cam grows up and no nobody wants to recognize I've been right the whole time(again my biggest thread on this last year was deleted).

OL was pretty good in pass protection today and has been mostly, the right side is bad though but we'll get people back. If we had running backs who can create their own holes, we could run. DWill sucks without a huge open hole so he NEEDS a top-5 line (like in 2008) and Stewart is about the same. Tolbert can make his own holes but Shula forgets he's on the roster for 3/4 of the game usually.

OL is horrible at run blocking

Williams isn't what he was. But our OL gives him or anyone little help. We have decent RBs. Your OL makes your rush attack.

Chud came out of the gate with that cute offense in 2012. It blew up on us and made life tougher on a not so great D

Yes, the end of 2012 Chud was calling the O......one that looked like the one Shula has run all season

I am not a Shula fanboy and I think our O is weak....but Chud sucks.

WTF is that supposed to mean? outside of you saying Chud sucks I don't see how you think we're having an argument, I present fact and the foundation of my thought behind my reason and you just reply: Well Shula called a similar one this year, and Chud sucks!!

please come back when you have something worth replying to.

I laid my arguement. Weaker cast around Cam this year.....and Cam and the O are more efficient under Shula.

You can argue it isn't by a large margin but better is better.

Not to prolong this argument anymore. But "the defense" is why Cam lost games. That's another argument.

It was Chud, screwing up the offense that effected both Cam and the offense productivity the first half of the season. Not his growing pains. And it was Chud scaling back, that (magically) turned Cam and the offense around.

"The defense" determined winning and losing. Chud's offense, just plain sucked the first half of the season. I'll give you the two may have happened in concert (bad D, bad offense; good D; good offense). But of course, this (the defense) has nothing to do with Cam's numbers for the most part.

You don't have to know who Albert Breer is. But it doesn't stop the facts that Rivera openly discussed the offense and his coaches in Breer's article, and how it wasn't working and needed a change. I'm too lazy to find the link, though it's not hard to find.

How is that different then Shula this year?

not exactly my strongest argument but if we are going to use it for a reason why Chud sucks, I can at least use if for Shula, and at least Chud had the Offense roaring over the final 5 games, not petering out.

your argument is weak.
