Is this our best D in franchise history?

I loved Pep, Jenks, Rucker, Minter, Morgan and Davis, etc., but Davis and the guys now seem a little more complete (at least up front). Gamble and Lucas may want to make me give the '05 D the nod, but this defense seems to have just more depth, and even guys coming off the bench are dialing big plays up. Moreover, the Star Lotuleile's presence just can't be understated, as does the push that Dwan Edwards provides in the middle.  This squad can be truly intimidating, and perhaps deserves even more respect (if that is even possible). What say the Huddle?

Its very close between this defense and the 2002 defense.  The 2002 defense did most of what they did with almost no support from the offense, so personally I think they were a little bit better.  And the 02 team had a better pass defense.  But its a very close thing.
