We need to make a trade yesterday. There are easily 4-5 games that we Win if we have 1 player that can create his own shot or be a reliable 3pts shooter

The more I think about it- Derozen needs to be a bobcat

now you realize.

That doesn't mean we can't compete for a playoff position right now...

You guys want to be a championship team over night but what you fail to realize is that there is maybe about five championship caliber teams every year and they were built over time or through a spending spree... this year it's Indianapolis, Miami, Portland, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City. However, just because you're not one of these teams doesn't mean you need to tank. We can get better through trades and $21 million dollars in free agency, and even with our draft pick.

We could easily package Henderson, Biyombo, and a first for DeRozan or Henderson and Biyombo for Afflalo...

We could use that $21 million dollar cap space on a player like Zach Randolph...

We are currently slotted at the 17th pick in the draft...

Just to give you an idea of the last few players slotted around the 17th pick...

2012 Draft: Terrence Jones with the 18th pick (starts at PF for Houston)

2011 Draft: Iman Shumper with the 17th pick (starts at SG for New York)

2011 Draft: Nikola Vucevic with the 16th pick (starts at C for Orlando)

2010 Draft: Eric Bledsoe with the 18th pick (starts at PG for Phoenix)

2009 Draft: Jrue Holiday with the 17th pick (starts at PG for New Orleans)

2009 Draft: Ty Lawson with the 18th pick (starts at PG for Denver)

2008 Draft: Roy Hibbert with the 17th pick (starts at C for Indianapolis)

If you have...

PG: Kemba Walker

SG: DeMar DeRozan

SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Jeff Taylor

PF: Zach Randolph, Josh McRoberts, Cody Zeller

C: Al Jefferson, Brendan Haywood

Insert draft picks and other free agents and we got a pretty solid team without tanking.

Why Derozan? He has the same issue as Henderson, as in he sucks at shooting the ball.... As much as I don't like Affalo, he's at least got an outside game and actually helps fix the offensive problems this team has.

Probably easier to get since his contract is not that great and Toronto is clearly trying to tank.
