Great Article on Cam's Kids

Yea....Shula taught Cam an important lesson early on......giving back.  Well done on Shula's part. Glad Cam has embraced it.

Actually,Cam already new how to "giving back" before Shula. He was giving back before he became a Panther. Shula simply encouraged him to extend his endzone celebrations outside of just celebrating. As Shula stated, Cam desire to continue doing it is more on him than Shula.

That's 15 kids who most likely will be panthers fans for life. Hate him or love him, there's no doubt cam has rejuvenated our team and fanbase. The families these kids will generate will be raised as one of us. This team is going to be in Charlotte for awhile. Mad respect for our young QB, he is gonna put us on the map.

What a great story.   He will be an ICON when it is all said and done.   Image these kids showing up 15 years from now when he retires.   By then it could be hundreds of kids and hundreds of thousand new fans.

He has that magnetic personality that makes kids relax.

We should thank Andrew Luck for staying in school.

Sorry if this was posted before.  I didn't see it so no big deal.

Everytime I see that word, "Icon" I can't help but thinlk of Peter King with his ego driven, attention seeking ass, and his hypocrite of friends in the sports media. Took Cam's words out of contexts and used it to beat him over the head with it. They raked him over the coals relentlessly for statement that Peter King knew exactly where Cam was coming from. But they beat him over the head claiming that he had no right saying that because he had NO BODY OF WORK IN THE NFL. Yet they turned around and plaster the word "Icon" over The Golden Calf of Bristol's head on the introductory NFLN magazine cover that they ironically bumbed Cam from for him, after his 10 starting games, 6 wins and two seasons as an NFL QB. Go figure.

I guess a real body of work in the NFL really wasn't the reason for their annoyance over Cam's out of context quote after all. Peter King simply gave them the ammo they needed to continue behaving like ego driven behinds.

I hate Charlotte Observer's website. They won't let me read the article without subscribing. In the past they have adds with sound that interrupt my streaming radio. I understand they need to make money but it's all a bit too obnoxious. It's so easy to not read their website they should really rethink things.

Has any newspaper (NYT, WSJ, etc.), actually been successful with this format?

Just click the 'stop loading' icon on your browser before the thing pops up and you should be good to go.  That's what I do anyways.
