I believe NHL players should wear these. I have no idea why they don't. So many leagues and organizations use them. Women's hockey, college, etc. The performance excuse really doesn't fly and is a load of bull. It's time for the players to get over themselves and stop trying to play tough and play smart. Pucks to the face are damaging. No matter how tough you think you are. I would love to see the NHL make them mandatory.
