Hardy franchise tag and hurt the cap or FA DE signing...what you say?

Does Gettelman even talk contract during the season? Does Richardson? I was under the impression the Panthers simply didn't talk contract during the season.

Star and Short should get better.....that will allow us to pair someone else with CJ and still remain beastly up front.

We need a RT, LT, RG, WR, CB etc. Those are starting needs.

Hardy is great but we need a more complete team

Finally, someone noticed we have some really good DTs. Teamed with CJ, we can still be very good without Hardy. Although, I would hate to lose him, we are in a good position to replace him if needed.

If Hardy plays hardball, we just may lose him. Sure it would hurt. But we have a very good line even if he isn't here.

We have too many needs to pay him too much. Fair market value, minus a small hometown discount, and we should be able to keep him.

But...it is all up to him.
