The one absolutely glaring snub is Thomas Davis, and it isn't even close. The fact that the guy missed the vote is un-fuging-believable. It's bullshit.

Nortman was most definitely snubbed, which is weird for me to say since the guy is a punter. I can see no Gano, though.

It's weird to let in Hardy and not Johnson (I think it might have something to do with his antics/being more polarizing).

That's about it, though.

Wow, Drew Brees said, "great job man, I'm proud of you", to Cam when they met on the field right after the game.

Take it from a Cam supporter, in my eyes, Cam went from a boy to a man, in NFL QB maturity on Sunday. I honestly thought that game was OVER but was stunned when I saw the TD going up for the Panthers with no time on the clock.

One has to seriously stop to recognize what Cam did. He not only pulled a Vet move like Tom Brady and Peyton are accustom to doing but did it as if he had ice in his veins. For him to have pulled off what he did on Sunday, every throw had to be PERFECTLY placed because he was not simply putting the ball up in the air and praying for a teammate to catch it. His throws were deliberate and percise.

Even those on NFLN, who seem to get a kick out of picking everything Cam does apart, had to marvel at how focused and percise he was with every throw as he marched the Offense down the field. And mind you, the last throw came with Saints' Defenders hands all in his face. The Panthers Defense may have given Cam and the offense a chance but he still had to execuse with only 32 seconds on the clock. It's no wonder he went from 9 to 5 with the fans votes in one week.

Looks like the Luck hype is dying down, especially after the RG3 debacle. Followed by Michael Irvin spasm out:

After this rant I notice on the Sunday game highlight which the Colts beat Kansas city they weren't hyping Luck's 3 yards runs anymore. Instead they talk about the defense and turn overs. Luck better show up next year and stop stinking it up every other game. I think a lot of NFL fans were getting tired of the great Luck hype.

Anybody notice the greatest QB ever Andrew Luck did not make or even sniff at the pro-bowl. In fact, a QB that probably won't even make the playoffs is chosen over him. I'm talking an 10 win division winning team's QB was not selected by neither the fans, the coaches, nor the players to represent in Hawaii. While the QB of an 8-7 team in the same conference that won't even make the playoffs will be in Hawaii. It seems like the media hype is neither affecting the general fans, the players, and certainly not the coaches. "All he does is win" couldn't help The Golden Calf of Bristol and doesn't seem like it's helping Luck's cause either. Wow! Lucky might actually be as suck as I always thought.

In fact, there was a poll asking who the biggest snub was and a whopping 55%(probably eagles & colts' fans. lol) said Foles while only 11%(probably only Colts fan) said Luck.

That doesn't even count. That's so funny. He keeps finding his way into pro-bowls without ever being chosen after real pro-bowlers decline it. I bet somebody ask Brady to decline it last year so Luck could get in there last year. This year he is not even the alternate as Stafford and Foles already have the alt spot. I was reading the Colts board, they aren't mad. Some say maybe next year. Poor Luck. No heisman,  no National Championship, no first ballot pro-bowl. What exactly is Luck accomplishing in this league(rhetorical)? Seriously! Has he won anything as a football player?

In other notes: on NFLN NFC Playbook one of the panelist just refer to Cam as "the great Cam Newton". It's amazing the kind of respect Cam is getting these days.

lol. Funny as hell!

I think last year, the players/coaches knew he was Andrew "Lucky" playing in a crappy division which contributed to the Colts surprising record.

This year, I think they took that in consideration (along with how well Rivers was playing, and the fact that the ProBowl is both conferences), and he wasn't going to saunter his way in this year off reputation/expectations and okay level play.

Irving is full of it. He's only mothing off because he knows that his Collegues at NFLN and ESPN aren't the one tearing down RG II.  Amazing how Irving and even Dieon, albeit they do rain down praises on Cam to the chagrin of some of the collegue, sit there and sometimes join in the endless scrutiny of Cam but he's all defending RG III when RG has yet to do what Cam has done.

Also, truth be told, I don't think it's just the RG III saga that cause the Luck hype to die down. You could tell those on NFLN were getting quite exassperated when they were forced to say that everything Luck did was so GREAT!!.

Fullbacks stats arn't supposed to blow you away

Tolbert could be if he was utilized more.

He can most definitely be a feature back, though obviously that's not going to happen with the Panthers.

But even in their current scheme he could get utilized more (with more runs, and catches in the flat, a few yards down the field).

For some unknown reasons (except to Shula), he's barely utilized during some games.

Nonetheless, I'm glad he came to the Panthers and made the Probowl, especially after complaining about his role here last year/before the season.

Well, that is what 32 seconds on a clock  with 65 yeards between you and a TD, to help your team win will do. Gotta give respect where it is due.  Everyone of those guys know what Cam is working with on the Panthers. As someone say, he had enough forethought to place the ball exactly where no one else but his receiver would get it and forced the receiver to get it.

Someone on here posted this week, that Cam has yet to learn how to throw his Receivers open and that is what separates him from Brady,a 13 year Vet. Well I am not sure what game they were watching or they even know what they are talking about because they clearly wasn't watching Sunday's game.

I could have sworn Tolbert led every other FB that was voted on in stats: TDs, yards, etc. Add in that he's a decent blocker, and a bowling ball to bring down... yeah, he deserved the probowl. Overall, he's a beast.

Davis and David were snubs... just like every single other 4-3 OLB. It's a crock, but what do you do? 3-4 OLBs are stats machines, and most folks voted for sacks/interceptions, not the best players.

The one that really irritates me though, is Nortman getting snubbed. The second guy picked isn't even close to his stats, the most telling of which is his punts inside the 20. How many times were we all saying how thankful we were to have him, as he kept us alive in a lot of games this year through field position?
