Great season. Just an awesome show.  The Tusk-Underwood battle is epic.  

 

Doug getting crushed in the skull by Rachel was a surprise, but he become weird and vulnerable

 

Meechem's increased role has been interesting haha unexpected threesome w/ the incumbent VP and Second Lady

 

 

For a potential Season 3:

 

The hacker has some important sh*t, Frank is President, Jackie is in a predicament, Seth seems like he's up to something, and Rachel is out

Just finished season 2.  Did not disappoint.  While Frank is clearly the bad guy I can't help but pull for him much like I did Walt's character in Breaking Bad.  Don't be afraid to launch some nukes to get your way Frank!

Originally, the show’s creator Beau Willimon informed fans via Twitter that the upcoming season was already in the works. Tweeting a photo of a packed writer’s room, Willimon’s assured viewers that only 800 more pages were needed to complete the third season of the Emmy-nominated show. With writers already concocting the wittiest of lines for “HoC” characters, Willimon admitted he had every intention to start shooting season 3 in early spring. That meant another February release date was to be anticipated.
But just like the plot of “House of Cards,” the drama pushed our naive hearts right onto a subway track when they retracted their statement, alerting fans that the premiere of season 3 would be pushed back due to a tax tussle with Maryland. According to reports, “House of Cards” is holding off on the production of its series until mid-June in hopes that Maryland will offer the Golden Globe-nominated series a lucrative tax-break deal.

I finished both seasons in the past week. This is after finishing all of Breaking Bad in less than three weeks... Binge watching ftw! (Thanks a lot Dpantherman)

I binged watched the show a few weeks ago. Are they planning on only having like 4 total seasons? Kevin Spacey's character arc is on an exponential scale right now, and it seems like there is no where to go but down- which obviously is going to eventually happen. 

 

Also were people really upset Peter Russo died? I thought his character was not that great. He was like the shoehorned guy that you want to feel bad for, I did however like Zoey. 

 

I like the show, but I don't see how they are going to turn this into 7 seasons.

agree, i think it peaked too early. should've saved that milestone for the end of season three. it'll have to involve some serious shifts in focus to stretch on with the current character dynamics.
