How many of you have re-watched the game?

Recommended Posts

I have fallen asleep to it the last three nights, fast forwarding on the DVR to the final drive if I got tired. I need to buy a DVR recorder and find out how to get this thing on DVD
You can subscribe to nfl game pass and stream any game (one day after it originally airs). They have a timeline of scoring and you can just jump to them. I've watched that last drive like 15 times

I re watch every panthers game way too many times. Been watching alot of old games this season as well, everything is so much better when they're winning.

I wish we could set something up for trading games here, since selling them is illegal. There's a couple games I can't find anywhere.

2002 vs Cincy

2003 at NYG

Would love to get these two games. I don't enjoy watching movies or TV shows so I often watch old Panthers games

I've gotta admit I've watched it 3 times.  Defense looked great obviously.  Offense is a serious concern in terms of consistency.   It's great when the defense keeps giving the O opportunity, but that's a lot of pressure on to carry forward game in game out.  If we're going to have a serious shot at this thing going forward we need our offense to step up.  Our ability in the redzone has diminished greatly in the past few weeks.  If we get that sewn up we're in the Superbowl.  If we don't, I'm scared of an early exit in a close game.  Especially now that we know that our D is prone to the occasional anomaly of a bad game.

Bottom line...Cam can take us far and has proven he can come from behind and win big games.  We'll always have a shot.  However, Cam, is still a human being so even though he might be able to come from behind in 2/3 games it's not something you want to be your mantra heading into the dance.  Not because he can't, but rather it's not smart to test the waters.

I've re-watched it, and a few things stuck out:

  • This was a classic defensive slugfest. The Saints' defense played their best game of the year. Ours was right up there with the performance vs the 49'ers/
  • Cam did not have a bad game. Our whole offense never got it going until the end.
  • Ted Ginn is deathly afraid of contact. Passes need to hit him in the chest or in the open field or the alligator arms come out.
  • Luke, TD and Hardy were unstoppable.

It is a great game to re-watch once you know we win at the end and the stress isn't a factor.

Am I the only one that has noticed that we stopped throwing on 1st down. We used to move the chains by getting those quick 4-5 yard passes on 1st down. Then run for 4 yards on 2nd down. Setting up 3rd and shorts.

I really hated that we had become a dink and dunk team. But it moved the chains. So I could live with it. But now, we run on 1st down instead of throwing it. Does that not scare anyone but me?

We went from being aggressive to being passive. That is the one and only thing that perplexes me about out Offense.
