ATLANTA: This won't be easy

any team can put it together once.

I remember a very giddy evening in Morehead City where I watched the Panthers destroy the Minnesota Vikings on the opening game of the season.  Steve Smith ran a kick back.  Chris Weinke passed for a touch and ran a touch.  Then we lost 15 straight.

Anything can happen on one night in one game

Just go out there and blast them like its our last game of the season and deliver each and every blow with as much vitriol as possible.  The rest will take care of itself.

Cam's ankle is not a major injury (according to most sources) but is significant enough that it could limit his x factor scrambling for chain moving yards and avoiding sacks.

The fact that this was occurred in the Saints game where 4 possessions in the second half of the game where 3 and out speaks to this issue.

However, with Smith out and Cam's limited mobility, Cam provided he can move the ball effectively in the pass game during the final drive............but consider that the defensive scheme on that final drive was no doubt in a prevent mode which favors Cam's completing passes in the middle of the field exactly what happened with the Ginn and Olsen completions.

All that said..........I think the Panthers have enough to win this game but that it will be very hard fought.............and will be worth it for the rest needed.

I still think CJ could use another week as he is not fully engaged yet either.........

My gut tells me its a close one say 21-17 Panthers......

Nah, you're thinking like a fan,not a player. If it's motivation we're talking about,I think it'll be Atlanta wanting Tony G to go out a winner would mean more to them.

Well stated............all NFL players at any time on the field are playing to keep their starting position and/or market themselves for any pending contract extensions or free agent opportunities.......

Atlanta as a team and organization could care less who is the South divisional winner if it is not them.

No one needs to overlook any team in the NFL. But this is the 2013 Atl Falcons we are talking about. They are a VERY bad team, we are a VERY good team. Period. Nope they won't be a push over, but this team will win running away. Some of u mention now much Atl has to play for(how they hate us and want to play spoiler etc) that's nonsense compared to what we have to play for. This team will be steamrolled like so many others we have played in route to the postseason.

an Atlanta fan said The Panthers will curb stomp the Falcons Sunday.

I believe this statement. Yes I do.

It's kind of ironic because more often than not the Panthers are the ones that are playing for pride at this time of the year. This team has heart and the #2 seed is staring them right in the face. I think the Falcons are going to keep it close at first but this team has come too far to give it away.

Keep Pounding!!!!!!!!!!
