perfect reason to be desensitized, I suppose. keep a cool head so you could help out. I've never dealt with a limb amputation, but I have had digit amputations and pretty bad avulsions. but once you stick a finger through a ribcage to insert a chest tube, nothing else can gross you out except eye injuries
