Thanks for all the replies and comments...On a side note as far as injuries nobody was more upset about them then i was. I wish i could have been out there on the field more for my team and my fans but my body at times wouldn't allow...Anyway i had alot of great memories from career and wouldnt trade it for anything. Look forward to this football season and chatting with you guys.

As far as the 2009 panthers i think IF we r gonna win a super bowl this is the year... I predict the Panthers to win the NFC south but it wont be easy. The NFC south is the toughest division in the NFL, with a ton of talent. Knowing coach Fox and the guys on that team, the Arizona playoff game will be in the back of there heads and won't let that happen again if and when they get back.

Dan, you and Steve Smith are my all time favorite Panthers.. Enjoy the huddle and ignore the few ignorant commenters on here, they don't represent us.

This is what it looks like- but as always with this place, it became such a pissing match nothing came of it.

It was just for a few days at camp (maybe the 1st at least) Hell, you know the coach and players better than any of us, how do you think they would respond?

Love you as a fan by the way. Carried yourself the way all atheletes should. I hope your restaurant business does well and best of luck to you.

Its a great approach. He is a former player, he understands the emotion of the game, and he knows those guys very well.

Dan was old school. If he had sat out as long as he should have with his early injuries, he might still be playing, but he wanted to play. Dan always knew where to be on the field. One thing he never gets enough credit for was how smart he was on the field.
