Maybe this is the answer! LoL

Just as true

He tested Cam's gangster... And learnt first hand that Cam keeps his pimp hand Strong

(That's Ebonics for those that are self proclaimed grammar Nazis)

We don't proclaim ourselves to be grammar Nazis.  Those whom we call out use that appellation to deflect attention from their own inadequacies.

And it's not "gangster," it's "gangsta'."

If If ..............If.............

wanna play the if game media?

Remember when we stopped the Saints and the punt formation penalty against the Panther kept the Saint drive going when the Panthers had them back deep in their territory?

And the review showed it was a very "iffy" call?

With that situation it destroyed a huge opportunity for the Panthers to move forward in the game then...........

Let's look at it this way.....................in that last drive the Saints had the ball deep in their own territory. Brees had been sacked 6 times in the game and pressured in the backfield all day. Our players were swatting at the ball when sacking Brees and he came real close to losing it a couple of times...........On top of that Brees threw two interceptions....................

Meanwhile the Panthers the last 3 or 4 times they had the ball went 3 and out..........doing nothing offensively. Cam was throwing the ball high to receivers that were even wide open...........and our run game in the second half was non existent.

So, do you chance Brees getting sacked losing the ball or throwing it up for an interception near your own end zone and give a golden opportunity for the Panthers to get back in the game and win it?

Or do you run three nice conservative safe ball control run plays and take a chance one might move the sticks for you and if it doesn't you kick it away so that the Panthers would have little time to make a miracle drive when they had no time outs with an offense that had shown nothing the last previous 20 minutes of possession?

What Payton did was not as idiotic as these guys make it out to be..............in fact what Payton did on that last Saints drive only looks stupid in hindsight.

Mark my words........if the last 4 minutes of this game was played by the Saints the exact same way for 10 times...............the Panthers win on maybe one or two times out of the 10.............

..........Payton was playing the percentages which is the prudent thing to do.................but it happened to be one of those time that the Panthers won on.

Now that fake field goal................yeah that was stupid.

Skip Bayless is a tool; period.  These guys are classic monday morning quarterbacks.  It's easy to say Sean Payton blew it when you know the final score.

You take away one big run, and the taints held us to 3 points the for 59 minutes of football.  We were 0-9 on 3rd down, our biggest threat at WR was out most of the game, and our offense was stagnant in the 4th quarter. They punted to an offense that had, what, 3 or 4 three and outs prior to the last punt, and they gave us back the ball with one minute on the clock against a defense who that was playing pretty darn good.

Carolina earned that win by playing lights out D and ST, and the offense rose to the occasion and won that game.  Cam and company took that game, no one gave it to us.  What a putz these guys are...

I agree with this quote 1000%. The Panthers won the game. I can bet if the Saints won, no one would be questioning if they deserved the win.

I am glad to see you not wavering to mob mindset of today's media.

They did not pass on third down because we had no timeouts. An incomplete pass would have given us the ball with almost two minutes. He was able to run out nearly another minute.

We just found a way to Rise Up and win the game.

Finally someone gets it.

Do not agree that saints are the better team. But I do agree it was stupid to try the fake FG and run three times into the teeth of our defense.

egg, zach, tally.

If ur gonna go batshit with unexpected coaching calls, such as fake field goals and fake on-side kicks, why are u half assing it?

Maybe this is why Ron prefers Calculated Risk Taker, as he feels Sean Payton  is more of the Riverboatin guy.  This game at least, Payton seemed to gambling just for the sake of gambling.  The fake onside: good call, completely unexpected and perfectly executed.  The fake field goal?  One, the field goal gives you the lead.  Two, if your going to fake it, don't audible out to show its a fake pre play.  Three, at least TRY to sneak brees onto the field.

It was purely senseless.  My friend next to me guaranteed me the Saints wouldn't pass on that last series they had, I have no idea how he knew that.  You have an incredible passing offense and 10 freaking yards wins you the game and you try to run up the gut to the nastiest front 7 in football?

At least Ron shows consistency with his risks.  I'm glad he's grown a pair of balls, but I'm also glad he hasn't turned into some egomaniac completely void of logic and reason.

Fact of the matter is this, a pass may or may not have been the right option for the saints, and thats fine, BUT, a run up the gut on 3rd down was absolutely the worst call, it's weakness vs strength.  If the Saints were smart, you boot Brees out, if he sees something, throw, if now, crumple to the ground and take a sack and kill as much time as that dive up the middle did.  Thats a win/win with your hundred million dollar player.  I firmly belive, Rivera/Shula got out coached for 58 minutes, yet won when Payton decided to outcoach himself.

1 other thing I'd like to add, I do not think that the Saints are a better team even on the road than the panthers like Bayliss suggested, and the proof is in Payton's playcalls.  The onside kick was a brilliant move on his part and gave himself an extra possession, but that fake kick tipped their hand that they didn' think they could beat us straight up and frankly, they couldn't.  We can stop saying this defense is one of the best in the NFL, and call them what they are, the best Defense in Carolina Panthers History, just proud that we're witnessing greatness before our very eyes.
