Most improved player from Defense and Offense this year?

I was really happy with Amini until he got hurt.

 

Happy with his play?!!!!!   Wharton has played so much better than Amini it's not even funny.

Defense easily Fua. From very negative contributions to no contributions.

Offense I'd say Tolbert- just because he has been able to showcase his talents with more touches.

Wharton is more consistent but he's not as athletic. Amini is a guy for the future. Wharton is a mediocre stop gap.

Yeah he's a veteran guy that knows the playbook. He's not physically dominant though. Amini has potential to be really good.

So did Jamarcus Russell.  

 

I mean I see Amini's physical attributes and you can see the flashes on some plays especially on run blocking.  However his bad plays are really, really bad.  Hopefully those go away as he gets more experience.  However as of right now this minute Wharton is better because of the consistency.

Do you think he just had the rookie jitters last year?  I would have given serious thought on cutting him at the end of last season.  Huge turnaround.

Wharton is a top 10 guard this year...thats not mediocre.
