McNutt to get a jersey...Lafell,Ginn,Hixon and McNutt to carry the load

Olsen, Tolbert, DWill, Lafell, Hixon, and McNutt should be fine.

With better execution and play calling, there's no reason we can't put points on the board.

One more thing. Tolbert had only one rushing attempt against the Saints, that is unacceptable. We need to get him involved against Atlanta.

I am with you man. I don't get the point of running the wildcat. It makes no sense to me. We don't have a threat of throwing the ball so everyone in the stadium knows it is a running play. Maybe add something to it but probably best just to tear that page out of the playbook.

Why are posters crying about the wildcat? We haven't used it since Miami. Definitely not in yesterday's game. wtf

I guess if that's all you have to complain about (given that you have to complain), then good. just stfu.

I could understand it if Peyton Manning was your QB and you inserted LT in his prime or something...

For us, Cam makes it a bonehead play.

Plus, I could stomach it if we ran it as a wildcat MAYBE but we even tame that down. Wildcat brings a man in motion to potentially alter the defenders. We just direct snap to a RB. Gives a defense one play to sell out on a run.....against Williams who isn't great against between the tackles contact.

The fact we ran it on a 1st and 15 almost cost me a 50in TV.....bc my remote almost went through it

If we lost, which was realistic.....it was an example of Shula essentially giving us 2 downs to convert.

It was an example of our OC making life hard on our O.

I agree.  However, since we keep giving this look this season and ALWAYS running out of it, I have to think that we're setting up something.  One of these days, DeAngelo is going to pop up and throw it over to Cam.

Definitely not in yesterday's game... Certainly not on our sixth play from scrimmage that seemed to kill the momentum we had going on that open drive on a 1st and 15 from the red zone!

Williams has been doing that since the Weinke era.....if he could pass I would think we would have seen it by now. If Chud wouldn't call a pass out of it....it ain't coming IMO

Question: When did we run the wildcat yesterday? I didn't see it.

We did have one play where we set to run the wildcat with Tolbert in the backfield and Cam in the slot. Then switched it up to a  standard set with Cam under center. And we passed the ball, if I remember right.

Are you serious? I can't tell.

We definitely ran the wildcat once, and the shortly after faked the wildcat... it made me cringe.

Every year it seems the Super Bowl winning team has an improbable star emerge right before the playoffs. Does anyone else feel like this is the perfect chance for that said player to emerge?

Hixon could be the guy. He's a vet with good speed and it seems like Cam has trust in him. I'm also kind of curious to see Ginn as the number 1 next week. More deep pass attempts perhaps. The Falcons defense will be the easiest D we have played in weeks so hopefully it's a good game for our offense to get some confidence and rhythm before the playoffs. I still think some nohuddle, uptempo besides when we're in the 2 minute would really help jumpstart our offense. I don't know if it is in Shula to do such a thing but Cam has killed it in the hurry up....and yes NO MORE WILDCAT EVER

On a 1st and 15 in scoring position. After a penalty that pushed us back 5.

Essentially gave us 2 attempts to covert

Next play, was Cam's INT on 2nd and 15.
