whether we are 15-0 or 2-13, Cam's throws are cam's throws. Us having the "biggest win of the year" doesn't change the fact that the ball sails when Cam throws FAR too often (and usually based on poor throwing mechanics). If theres one franchise who needed a win like this week more than the panthers, idk who it is, and all of us absolutely loved it. But the point of this thread was him just to point out, "hey whats up with that? shouldnt that be addressed by now?" And just think if that last pass to Ginn had sailed just 3 inches higher and was off the finger tips of Ginn... after the poor game Cam had, imagine the backlash.... Thats all the OP was bringing up.

All QB's do this (good ones, bad ones, average ones).  It's not something applicable only to Cam. This is why people are clueless to these type of post. All QB's, especially young ones, have things they need to work on. Duh! But the Panthers won the game, by said QB. 

 

Drew Brees, sailed a lot of passes in the game, and his team lost. However, I guarantee you, their fans are not going to write endless tomes on what he needs to improve on. They may not even noticed or remembered those passes (though I do, cause so many "Huddler's", thinks Cam is the only one that misfires on passes). Saints fans, are going to talk about the game, right after a loss. The individual analysis/improvement, can come later, if at all. 

 

When you win a game, the way the Panther did, it' silly to go in such detail, right after (especially, when the subject matter played "Superman" like football in victory during the closing seconds). The OP's, "Dorsey's Dropping The Ball As QB Coach", after a miraculous victory!? Come on!? SMH like a wet dog (though it may be good entertainment, or a time killer)!

 

Just enjoy the incredible win, and long lost playoff entry. This only gives credence, to the arguments, that the Panthers have many in their fan base who openly, or secretly hate Cam, for what ever reason. And that's a shame. SMH

You should wait until someone calls Brees/Manning/Brady/etc "perfect" before you use the "All QBs do this...." argument. Everyone is agreeing with u. I think what football maestro and others have been trying to say is that we have a franchise qb that just won us an important game along with the defense. Focusing on cam's deficiencies is rather stupid when cam knows what he has to do to correct them. It also takes away from the good things he did in the game. Why does every overthrow have to seem like it's a unique cam attribute when every qb in the league struggles with it at times? A lot of other fanbases just enjoys the good with the bad without overanalyzing the bad with their qb. Why can't this fanbase do the same with cam?

first let's give some context.  let's say it's been BLIZZARDING for years in Pantherville, but this year, things have been surprisingly nice!  We've had weeks f great weather!  On top of that we literally had THE BEST week of weather we've had in years!  it'd be more like if the op was like "the weather has been OK but given the rain tomorrow we should fire our Weather Maker's Boss!"

 

now let's say rain maker is black, and surprise, a lot of people don't like black rain makers for one reason or another and the media often shits on them for seemingly no reason.  

 

so some posters are like hey the weather maker is fine dude I don't see the issue.

 

Meanwhile, elsewhere it's raining and sleeting this week and fans in Finville and BreesyValey and the fans in these lovable locales arent calling out their white weather makers at all, despite the crappy weather that week.

 

so anyway... this is a retarded example, fug it, the point is that a lot of fans seem unnaturally hard on Cam compared to how other fan bases are on their QBs after wins and a season going so well

We don't not coach Cam, practice with Cam, watch film with Cam, show him adjustments that need to be made in between drives, NOTHING. We sit and watch and thats it. Does Cam have accuracy issues? Yup. Does Peyton have issues throwing the long ball? Yup. Does Brady also have long ball issues? Very much so. Does Brees turn mediocre when its cold/rainy/outdoors? You betcha. There now we have established that every single QB has issues. Yes Cam takes more heat on this board. He also gets the most love on this board. This is a CAROLINA PANTHERS BOARD. what else would you expect? 

 

And I have no idea what all of your obsessions are with the "We just won a game, so lets pretend we don't have problems...(or at least not address them until thursday, even though they've existed all year)" but keep sliding the truth under the rug, and a lose in January will completely blow this forum up to epic proportions.

He/she's sticking with their arguments, cause that's their way or excuse to reserve the right for them, or anyone else to scrutinize Cam at will, regardless of the context, euphoria or occasion.

I meant focusing as in talking about on forums and the net. Being positive fans is better than being nit picky about stupid poo we can't affect. And you contradict your own post by saying there's nothing to focus on but we should keep sliding the truth under the rug? It's seems like you do want to focus on something as a fan. aright I'll give this one last attempt at explaining.

 

What a few posters here are saying i that Ryan on the Falcons forum, Brees on Saintsreport, Tannehill on the fins forum, etc... get more love relative to the heat than Cam does, despite what Cam has been doing this season, by a long shot, especially for the young white QBs, which makes some posters think threads like this may be motivated in part by racial bias (sometimes unknown by the OPs)

1)   Must not really like their QB

1A) Hold a deep seated, secret crush (or Hatred) on their QB; thus can't take their eyes off of them for any moment

 

2) Are insufferable, unhappy louses

 

3) Didn't know or remembered the Panthers won the game, and decided to comment or post as they usually do/anyway. 

 

4) Have nothing to do, or too much time to kill??

 

5) Practicing their writing skills, for Journalism, Law, English Literate classes, or maybe their school paper??

(1st bolded line): Cam has a weakness. It's his accuracy. That cannot be disputed whether we win 55-0 or get blown out. Im not "focusing." I did not create this thread. Just stating a fact

 

(2nd bold): a problem is a problem. I seriously do not understand what you homers mean by this. Peyton wins games, he has issues. Brees is a great QB, he clearly has issues. So does Cam. Win or lose.... issues.

 

(3rd bold): the entire purpose of this 11-12 page thread was the OP asking why this (bolded line) hasnt already happened. Thats it. Nothing else to see here
