I will admit, of all the crappy sub-.500 teams we could play, playing Atlanta on the road is really low on the list of games I would prefer.  Maybe it is because I still remember losing big December games there in the past (could have clinched in '03 and did not).  It would be just like them to have a big game and challenge us.

 

Still though, there is no reason for it to be close if we come to play as well.

And going down to Atlanta and winning without Steve Smith? And pinning our hopes on the 49ers beating the hottest team in football next week? Yeah sorry I just don't see it.

Well..... We pulled out a W against a Saints team today without Smitty for most of the game. Saints team > Falcons team... The rams are on a roll right now... They seem to be enjoying the spoiler role, and what could be sweeter for Fisher and company than laying down a beating on the playoff bound Seahawks team and knock them off their pedestal????
