Luke is now #3 (pending the Niners game).  Think he can be #1 again?  I do!  The Falcons will know what's hitting them...and can't do anything about it.

How can this guy be? I mean really, i don't think he's even near his best.

He has been playing great. He has struggled some in his 2nd year because a lot of offenses have been game planning around him and trying to take him out. Also there a lot more defensive play makers on the team this year. Games like today make you remember what a fuging beast he is

I remember everyone biting my head off saying we should sign Burfict as a UDFA. Guess I do know what I am talking about. Guy is a stud. Him on our defense with TD and Luke...omgzzz. But definitely glad we have luke. What a stud

A bit off topic, but I'm hoping the Panthers take a long, hard look @ BYU WLB Kyle Van Noy leading up the draft. This kid's speed, instincts and coverage skills are off the charts and he should be available when we pick in the late 1st round. I know we have bigger needs, but adding his talents would give us a helluva LB corps with Kuechly and Davis and our front seven would be an opposing offenses' worse nightmare.

I was adamant about the same thing, especially since I had a feeling he was going to go UDFA after his big free fall. Kid made too many damn plays and his issues all centered around his obsession with the game. You can fix those guys, it's the lazy ones who don't care that you have to watch out for.

Glad to see him balling for the Bengals, and Klein is proving to be a good pickup as well as he grows, so maybe everyone is happy.

We play too much nickel to invest heavily in another linebacker. We're going corner first if we pick defensively.

I would much rather continue with Klein who was playing well btw.   I can't even imagine us taking anything other than an WR or OL.  Hell I could even see us going CB before picking another LB.

That being said .. Van Noy is really good.

And I agre with you. The OL needs serious re-tooling and we desperately need playmakers @ WR & CB. That said, we have always taken a BPA approach to the draft and Van Noy, based on his productivity, athleticism and intangibles, may fit that bill at our projected spot. Plus, Ron Rivera is a defensive guy and loves these type of instinctive, playmaking LBs. He also appears to fit perfectly with our defensive scheme, and with Thomas Davis manning the SLB spot for the foreseeable future, a playmaking WLB would make our defense near impossible to beat. As far as Klein goes, he is playing well but I think his future is @ SLB and he'd have the opportunity to improve and learn behind Davis. Just my thoughts.
