Best crowd of the season

Dude may have just been drunk and had a much nicer pancho then anyone else. Hardly fan of the year worthy. What about everyone who actually stood out in the rain and screamed that asses off instead of hiding under a waterfall?

 

I was up in the 500 section behind one of the goal post and was going to go buy a poncho during the downpour but decided,no, the Panther D needs me,I'll stand right here!I started yelling at a lot of the Panther fans that had their asses plastered on the seats to get the hell up and yell!

i was at the game, it was awesome, sec. 122...

I never even put on my poncho, i actually left my "gametime" book and phone wrapped up in it to keep them dry instead of me lol...

The 4 guys beside me, ;left pissed off right after we punted the ball with 2 minutes left....then the comeback happened and everyone was clowning them in the section for leaving....as i watched them leave i thought about that classic game for buffalo when people left and was climbing fences to get back in to see the comeback...i bet they felt stttuuupppiiiddddd

Here is a two part question to you all regarding the crowd recently as it stacks up against previous Panther games in Charlotte...............many are saying this recent Saints game is the best crowd they've seen at BOA...........including the MNF this year and the 08 game against the Bucs.

 

Now I moved down here in 1998 and started watching the Panthers then....................I can remember watching a night game at BOA against the Cowboys on TV that John Madden was the color analyst on. I don't remember if it was a playoff game or not but I seem to think it was...........it had to be after 1998 and not before since I didn't follow the Panthers previous to that.

 

What I remember in that game is everyone had white growl towels and the crowd was intense.............Madden at one point said, "Wow this place has gone crazy"..............that stuck out in my mind because I don't remember Madden saying stuff like that about crowds very often.

 

So here is my question........first does anyone remember what game that was? and was the crowd for the Saints game better than that one?

 

On TV that Dallas game crowd at night seemed to be as intense as I remember coming of the TV for any football game I ever saw up to that time.....................I'm curious if anyone was at that game if the crowd excitement at the Saints game superseded that one?

 

That might of been the wildcard game against the Cowboys in Jan 2004,and yes the crowd was louder during most of the game!I also remember the crowd being louder at the MNF game against the Bucs in 2008,I went to both!

If you're thinking of the 2003 playoff game I was there and is the best game I've ever been to at boa. The entire upper level was shaking THE ENTIRE GAME!!

Yeah I paid a bunch for a club seat and the whine and cheesers were replaced by real fans that were loud throughout the whole game,I hope the Panthers win the division and host a Divisional game w/some good chilly weather!

I was at that Cowboys playoff game too. It was a night game, clear and cold. Someone from the Cowboys had said that he didn't even know where Charlotte was and that had the crowd fired up. It was a very, very loud crowd. Good memories. Also, we had lost an away game to the Cowboys earlier in the year. It was a game that the refs gave to them on what was a bad call; Peppers tipped that FG and instead they flagged us for running into the kicker.

 

What made the Saints game special is the weather and how the crowd hung in there despite the heavy rain.

I lucked up and got two silver club seats . I've been to many Panthers games, but always in the 500 sections. The stadium was so loud, it was almost electric. I will never forget it .
