What a Turnaround By Cam

Cam wasn't that bad. After his injury he had trouble with accuracy but guys let some balls get away. I feel like He put that ball in a good spot for Ginn (the interception) Ginn just didn't have his hands up ready for it. I don't know why we ran a QB draw with Cam hurt, that was the dumbest play of the game. We couldn't run, we couldn't catch. I don't put it all on Cam here.

Cam would even tell you he struggled. I don't even care, like I said, he came through, and we won.

 

You don't bench Manning (Peyton), rodgers, brees, etc because they struggle...you stick with them and they can (and most likely will) come through for you. Just think if we had some legit WRs beyond Smitty and Olsen. The before mentioned have legit weapons, Cam is doing it with lesser WRs and a beat up Oline all season...

I've never said anything about benching him, ever. Maybe you quoted the wrong person.

Cam was downright bad today, likely the worst he's been this season, but Shula did not help.  D-Lo dives up the middle in a monsoon were awful calls.  No excuse to not use Tolbert more in the downpour.

 

With all of that said, that last drive might be the 3 best throws Cam has made in his entire NFL career to this point.  Pressure on, delivered into tight windows with authority.  Amazing.

I don't even know how to feel. No Steve Smith, rain, and being gimpy he still did it. He looked like hot garbage but those 2 minutes were epic.

dude whatever Shula blows but Cam wasn't getting it done either. I NEVER would want him benched (that's fuging retarded, whoever said that), but Cam was struggling

The O-line was bad today, no way around that. But, on that last drive they were great, with Tolbert getting a chip on Jenkins, Cam was free to do what he does.

I'll give Cam credit, his line let him down, and got him hurt. Yet, he pulled it out in the end.

The point is the defense kept us in this game. Cam came through clutch as he had all season. Whoever the fug would want Derek Anderson or Jimmy Pickles over Cam Newton needs to go ahead and get the fug off this site. you're a fuging idiot. Yeah it wasn't his day, yeah Shula has lost his mind, and the OLine has sucked like it has all year and Shula hasn't help to mask that, but a win is a win and it's a team effort.
