What a Turnaround By Cam

Let's not kid ourselves.  He had one good drive the entire game.  There's no excuse for 3+ quarters of bad play.  

 

I'm glad we won, but I don't feel so good about this offense right now.

OK, he struggled for most of the game. Does that make calling for him to be benched any less idiotic? Should the Saints have benched Brees? He threw twice as many picks as Cam did and he was on his back half the game.

Cam would even tell you he struggled. I don't even care, like I said, he came through, and we won.

To everyone blaming Shula:

1) hard to run against 9 in the box

2) hard to pass against 9 in the box without receiver separation and pass protection

We suck at those areas and have all year. Nothing outside of the draft and offseason pickups fixes that. But every team has holes, and we won! Stop being idiots!

I didn't see anyone saying that, but I don't doubt it. Obviously I don't agree with that.

Never wanted him benched.   I still believed in him no matter the outcome, but seriously that was a horrible game till the very last drive.  If we lost it was squarely on his shoulders and he would have been the first to admit it.  But Cam is absolutely clutch.  Wow.

You can have all of the physical talent but if a player doesn't have "it"...he may just be avg to above avg

Cam has proven that he has something special.

shula did make bad calls today as well as cam did make bad passes..........the whole offense looked horrible as a unit plenty of equal blame for all of them

 

but shula still is a good oc just like cam still is a good qb

I wasn't in the gameday thread, but I highly doubt people were asking for Derek Anderson.
