What a Turnaround By Cam

All I can say is fug everyone. Everyone bailed on Cam in the gameday thread. Asking him to be benched. Putting all the blame on him. The people that actually know football know that our OC is holding this offense back. Period.

Cam was struggling, if you can't see that, you've got blinders on.

The point is he overcame it, and we won.

He wasn't struggling near as much as people in the gameday thread were saying. That high throw to Hixon on the 3rd down, there was an olineman laying on the ground at his feet and he couldn't step into the throw. There were other high throws but they hit the receivers in the hands and they dropped it.

Cam would even tell you he struggled. I don't even care, like I said, he came through, and we won.

I don't agree.  That was one throw, yeah, but he was throwing high repeatedly on several passes, and he wasn't putting touch on the ball, and he was slow in his decision making.

None of it matters.  We won.  Cam has a lot to work on, but he's fuging clutch when it matters, and that's what counts.

FWIW I think losing Smitty fuged the gameplan bad.  Shula is ABYSMAL at in game adjustments, and talk about a big one when your most dangerous receiver goes down

Of the high throws, I think there were only a couple that were wtf moments. Others hit receivers in the hands and like I said, the one with the lineman at his feet. I saw the replay on that one.

He was soaking wet, beat up, getting hit every play and obviously hurt but he kept throwing bullets that last drive and led us to the win.

Noodle arm Brees could barely get the ball ten yards down the field in the rain but Cam was throwing lasers that last drive.

Playing well and winning at the end when things haven't been going well all day is what great QB's do when necessary and that's what our QB just did so enjoy the show.

Amazing

#2 seed FTW

Had to listen to the radio, but early on Ginn and LaFail (according to the rdaio) both should have caught the balls. Ginn's was INT and LaFail showed NO heart (again)...they didn't say that, but I can read between the lines and know his history...lol. Should not have been in the the position in under 2 minutes to start with.  I like Ginn, tho...LaFail can pack  his bags (no matter what he does or does not do the rest of the way) as far as I am concerned.

I didn't think today was Cam's day.

I don't know how he can just turn it on like this, but I don't give a poo.  HOLY fug CAM NEWTON

Agreed.

He threw like 5 good balls all day, but luckily 2 gems were on the last drive.  Who cares now, especially if his leg is now okay.

People have off days and he would probably tell you that his was not his best day.

There might be a day when we have to win 33-30 because the D is off.
