Luckily it's only on Sundays, so normally folks will prepare ahead of time and hit up the beer store on Saturday night. And by beer store, I mean any grocery store, which is more than can be said for those unfortunate souls in Maryland who have to buy any type of alcohol at liquor stores.

Used to be no Alcohol on Sundays at all in CT.

It is impossible to get drunk in Utah.

We may have a few silly laws about alcohol in the USA but on my bike tour in Europe this Summer I generally couldnt find anything open at most times if the day. Lazy f'n Euros :)

Had to wait for a whole minute since I went to the cashier at 11:59. My watch said 12, she still wouldn't sell until their clock said noon. It was the longest 60 seconds of my life.

That's what I love when I am in the US, no worries about stores being closed after 8pm and on Sundays. ;-)
